Thinkway's Toy Story Collection

woah thats cool he looks more accurate now.

so he still swings back and forth on his feet okay?

note untill i shorten his legs his body is just on the shoes right now.

He looks “Lightyears” better that way. As long as it won’t mess up the electronics, (as you say it doesn’t) I may have to do that with mine.

it would be wicked if you could (while you have him unscrewed and what not) find a way to make his feet removable so that you could take them off whenever you wanted without any hassel

Now that’s what Mr. Potato Head should have looked like! I wish I didn’t feel disappointed about him cause he really is the best looking one yet, but I think what killed him for me more than the legs always sticking out was when I found out that you could only put batteries in his back compartment. It just doesn’t feel like the same traditional Potato Head from when we were kids when you can’t store all his extra parts inside of him, I mean where else are you supposed to put them?

Great job on this!

Howdy. Just registered after lurking here for a long time to share a little bit of Hamm info from Florida.

After the pictures first surfaced Monday night I went to my local Disney Store on Tuesday and they had three Hamms on the shelf. Picked one up (it is beautiful, perfectly in scale, and is made of what almost seems to be some type of a polished plastic/resin type of hybrid…sturdy, but probably breakable.)

I found him at the Disney Store in The Florida Mall in Orlando, FL. When I checked out the CM told me that no one in the store heard anything of his existence before he arrived and they all kind of geeked out when they opened a shipment Sunday morning and found him staring at them.

On the reciept he is listed as : “TS T10 HAMM BANK 464521723112” $19.50.

FYI The Toys R Us in the Florida Mall parking lot also had a large number of Mr. Potato heads. His receipt lists the item number as: 064442640149.

And just for fun, here are the original toys I have had since 1995/96 (including a fairly disasterous Potato head that I tried to make for myself with sculpey and super glue)

And here are the TSC replacements:

okay two things 1 your toy story collection is so much better than mine and your simpsons collection from what i can see is alos better than mine and 2 nice modification on the old potato head

Your homemade spud looks great to me!!! I sware the disney store ladies are gonna think im stalking them. Im checking the store again today for hamm

lol or r and using hamm as an excuse???XD

they are removeable.

Can you please take a picture of the shoes removed and post it here? k thanks

I love the side-by-side comparison of the old and new toys. The Toy Story Collection sure is a HUGE improvement even with all the complaints (joined eyes, fixed jaw, etc.), and I for one are glad we finally have a set worthy of the movies. I never bought the old original ones because they always looked just a bit off, but I’ve been happy to pay for the Collection figures! Just gotta find that Hamm…

First of all, it looks AWESOME. I especially like the first one because of the nostalgic appeal. Rex and the Green Army Men look particularly nice because they are in the proper shades (the bucket also appears to be more in-scale as well). Also, it looks like you have the bendable Woody from the picture. Must be hard getting him to stand.
Now, I’ve never seen those aliens before, they look very nice. The only question is do they squeak?

I like your custom potato head. Not bad! Great collection too.

Sadly, no.

here he is with out shoes epic setup too [/img] and for any one wondering why the floor loks wierd were puting in a new floor so it looks wired right now.

AWESOMENESS

wait so once you re attatch the feet are you going to be able to take them off whener you feel like or no

Yes there will be able to come off.
