Hey TylerHaslet, great to have you on the forum! As a Pixar builder myself, I am very interested to see what kind of cool home-based creations you come up with. Just curious, what are your plans on creating an authentic Rex with a moveable jaw? I think that’s what many people here have been asking for.
I have no plans at all to sculpt a rex, as there already is a version almostly directly from the pixar files. I will though however customize my own, Rex, with a moveable jaw, but I’m not too concerned with that just yet. I would like to repaint it though, more opaque rather than the slight transluceny that vinyl has (which is what the TSC rex is made from).
Kyle and I were just about to partner up on releasing a hamm, but very luckily the Disney stores came out with one that is perfect, so no need for that.
I do sculpts, molds, etc for a living, so Toys are right up my alley.
Hoping to complete my Toy story setup under a plexiglass case, as a partial Andys Room facade, complete with a goldfish bowl housing nemo.
Would love to build a 1:1 Wall-E but cant find the plans that are available, anywhere.
If you are interested in building a scale model WALL-E, I can suggest two places that will be very beneficial. The first would be Scot Washburn’s WALL-E Building site and they have some very talented people working on custom WALL-E builds. I’d also suggest checking out my site @ DIY PIXAR, while even though it’s under development, we have several builders who are also producing WALL-E Builds.
As the owner of DIY PIXAR, I’d also really appreciate it if you could share some of your magnificent Toy Story creations with us.
I know this isn’t a Toy Story Collection but I really wanted to show this:

That is nothing short of amazing. Have you ever considered emptying the sand to save your sketches?
I’ve given it some thought to, yes. I don’t like to do that though since it would render the EAS unusable, but I’ll probably do that if I decide to give my sketches as presents.
Yeah, normally I’m not a fan of that, but you have genuine talent, and it would suck if it fell or something.
I’m picking hamm up on saturday just sold my old trumpet and refuled my funes so i’ll post pics once i get him.
Excellent !!! ![]()
Hey Lovely People,
I have a massive request!
Would anybody be prepared to purchase, securely pack and ship a Hamm to London for me as I have a feeling in the pit of my stomach that we won’t be getting him here.
Obviously I’ll pay for it all including any packing material needed upfront by Paypal.
I’d really appreciate the help and am happy to return the favour if there is anything you’d like from over here (not sure what as you guys in the US have everything and I’m soo jealous! Seriously tempted to emmirgrate).
PM me if you can help. I get paid on Wednesday so can have the funds to you by then.
Thanks in advance.
Also, folks keep asking me about MR. P eyes, the price. A set will be around $2 with shipping. But thats not for another 2 weeks. It is work on my end, but at the same time its not that much material, and not too much prep/paint work, so I’m keeping it literally dollars in price because Mr. P himself is already $50.
So does any one have news or spotted any other TSC wave 2 figures any where? I’ll be heading to my TRU this weekend to it out!
I just wanted to introduce myself. I’ve been reading this forum (especially this topic) for a few months, and I have really appreciated the wealth of information I’ve found here. I’ve been a Toy Story collector since '95, and have a fairly large collection of toys and other things from “back in the day”, much to my wife’s dismay
. I also have all of the currently available TSC toys, and much of my success in finding them is because of the people here.
If anyone is interested, I’ll try to put together some photos of my collection this weekend, but many of the items are, like poor Stinky Pete, still MIB. I’m reluctant to open some of them, since the way they were packaged, there’s no way to open them without really trashing the packaging.
BTW, if anyone still needs help finding a Potato Head, my TRU still had a couple of them in stock last time I checked.
When y ou say “like stinky pete” were you saying you actually do have a stinky pete, or just that their mint like him?
No, unfortunately I still don’t have Stinky Pete. The price he sells for on eBay is just too much. I just meant, “like the character in TS2”.
I seen Utility Belt Buzz at Wal-Mart. I tried the buttons on all that they had and none of them worked. That’s a great way to get people to drop another $40.00 on another Buzz. ![]()
Was that the TSC Utility Belt Buzz, or the 2nd tier version? I’ve seen the 2nd tier at several places, but no signs of the TSC version yet.
That’s awesome. Thanks for helping out the community like that.
Same here. I saw a lady with some TS3 Barbie toys and she said they’re not allowed to sell them til May, and since wave 2 includes some ‘3’ characters, I don’t think they’ll be having any official releases til then…although I know not every employee will be so strict or really care…so they might be out a little earlier.
I assume that if the Disney Store releases are scheduled for Monday, there might be the chance as well that the TSC wave two also make start to be released At that time. I definitely will be checking the stores out come Monday morning.
