Thanks, Bryko!
You outdid yourself this time.
Those are aweome Bryko! I can’t wait to learn more about the Cereal Bar.
Forogt to Ask, but do you guys thonk i’m making a wise move getting this over the ultimate toybox, becauase I already own the old collectors edition DVDs?
If you don’t own theblu rays for the first two movies, I would say no. These movies are worth owning in HD. The toybox itself is just a novelty really, I could see wanting the poster over that (though I’d have a hard time choosing myself) but I couldn’t justify not getting the blu rays in some form. Maybe buy them separately?
That is an awesome poster though, they should have made it available in stores. (if they already do I haven’t seen any)
I’d prefer the rare Japanese version of that poster with Woody and Buzz swapped though, since he is the star of TS3. Wonder if that’ll ever turn up again?
I also got that deal from the disney store. But I did not get those cards only the poster. I also did get some really great coupons with. I do own toy story 2 on blu ray but, I have toy story on dvd do you guys think I should upgrade it?
I own the Toy Story Toy Box, (I think), which has the first two movies and and a bunch of extra features. (It came in a silver box).
I really want the packaging for the Ultimate Toy Box, and I also want the Toy Story 1 and 2 for Digital Copy and Blu-Ray. I’m thinking of just getting that also and just have 2 Blu-Rays and 2 DVD’s for TS3. Does anyone think this is a stupid idea?
You could always sell your extra one, right?
Yahh, I could. I have decided though, I am going to wait a little while before I get this. It isnt a limited time thing, right?
Semi-related, but my local IMAX theater is finally showing Toy Story 3. And the late-showing theater is showing Toy Story 3 as well (if it’s in 3D, I’ll get another viewing of that as well).
By the way, does anyone know yet whether or not the “Toy Box” trilogy listed above will be an American exclusive, or if it will be available for retail in the rest of the world? If it’s the latter, do you think it would be region locked? I certainly hope not - I’ll be quite sad if I have to miss out on it.
(I’ve heard though that the other Toy Story blu rays haven’t been region locked, so I suppose that bodes well).
I’m in the UK and am having difficulty finding what extras will be present on the DVD/Blu-ray combo pack.
Come to think of it, I mainly want whatever Blu-ray set has the most extra features - is there a UK Blu-ray-only release that is better than a UK Blu-ray/DVD combo release, or will the combo have the same features as the standalone Blu-ray?
Thanks
I’m going to get it on Blu-ray along with the first two because I think they’ll be a box set. I’m using the last of my holiday money on it.
Also, cool poster.
I think Ive decided not to get the ultimate toy box collection. I just found out that it doesnt come with standard cases, its just the 10 discs inside some foam in the toybox packaging. I was very close to ordering it too, but I don’t want to be stuck with nothing but that toy box to store them in. I want them to sit nicely on the shelf with the rest of my pixar collection.
I think I’m going with the blu ray, DVD combo pack. It’s not lacking any major blu-ray features that are in any other release is it?
Their identical, only the packaging is different.
That’s what I thought. Now if only I could get a 7.1 system to enjoy the 7.1 track =[
Really excited for tuesday. Why cant time go faster?
This review has some fantastic high res screens to hold us over. make sure you click them.
Now I’m even more excited. However, I’ll be getting it on DVD at Christmas. And this quote in the review caught my eye.
“Frankly, bitter critic Armond White can shove it.”
Yes. Yes he can. This film is perfect.
I’m getting the DVD the day it comes out, since it’s Election Day in the USA, which means that with TS3, I’ll be able to escape my parents watching the debates and such.
