I’m so excited for the DVD but unfortunately I have to wait 'til Christmas to get mine. 
I’m just hoping that the Blu-ray menus with Mr and Mrs Potato Head will also be on the DVD. It also seems that the Cars 2 Teaser will make it onto the DVD and Blu-ray release after all. Then again, Pixar already posted it on their Youtube channel.
I’m looking forward to seeing it again when I get it at Christmas. This film just blew me away.
The Toy Story Trilogy pack will be at my door step on Tuesday. I cannot wait!
Does anyone have any strong opinions whether one should purchase the DVD/Blu Ray or download it from iTunes? I love having the physical copy of (as well as the included digital one) but the iTunes exclusives are very tempting?
I can’t have both, unfortunately.
My personal preference is, when available, to buy the actual physical media for anything that I really love. That goes for DVDs, CDs, Blu-rays, etc.
Purchase by downloading has its uses for titles otherwise unavailable, rental titles and anything not too ‘valuable’, but otherwise it’s physical media all the way. 
It really comes down to what you want more…the iTunes extras or the Blu-Ray extras.
I guess you guys are right in that sense, I do prefer an audio commentary to anything else on the iTunes extra.
Still, I’m wondering if they’ll get eventually released virally, a la George and AJ short?
If it does come out I imagine they’d make you pay for it in some way. iTunes is good like that. If you do want the blu-ray / dvd, but don’t wanna pay blu-ray money…look online for a coupon to get 8 dollars off the blu-ray/dvd combo.
Is it bad that I’ve only just realised that Toy Story 3 is being released on Blu-ray in the UK on my birthday?

Well…my first Disney DVD purchase. I got the 4 disc pack with the coupon. I just got home and popped the DVD into my Computer to watch it. It doesn’t play…Anyone having problems with playing it on their computer? Is this a normal thing for Disney DVDs? I havn’t tried it on my tv yet but darn…I was looking forward to watching it on my computer.
Ive been marathoning all the special features, as well as skimming the movieitself. Im almost out of features, the last thing left really is the alternate commentary. Im loving every minuit of it. surprised to see nothing on sound effects or the sound track really. unless Im missing something. also, I wish it had set flybys as the first two did. they don’t seem to like doing those anymore. I think Wall-e was the last one to do something like that.
Kyle, did you order th 4 disk special in the Disney store? I’ve prelrdered that, and I want to know if it has any special content not found in that 10 disk toy story ultimate toybox. You told me like a month ago that the ultimate toy box doesn’t have any individual cases for the disks, so Im thinking of keeping bothe my Disney store preorder and getting the 10 disk plan.
Do you think this is a smart idea?

Why? The movies been out for like 6 months at least, the DVD is now readily available, I think people who are going to be reading about Toy Story 3 news should have been able to see the film by now.

I’m not sure what disk your referring to, if Disney has an exclusive thing I didn’t know about it, mine just came from walmart. I did get A four disc one, but the two disks are obviously just the digital copy and dvd. nothing we didn’t already know. I never go to my Disney store because its so crappy. (with the exception of when I bought a few Hamms)
