Well then I highly reccomend you purchase a high definition television! With that and Blu-ray, Toy Story 3 will look like it is real!
I guess you’re right. How much would one of those high definitivenition televisions cost? In the $40 to $80 dollar range?
I think a 28 inch TV might cost around $200 dollars. There are many factors that affect the price though, so I am sure you can find the right one for you at the rigt price somewhere.
Oh, that sounds expensive. Do you think there’s some type of secondhand stores that I can buy high definitivenition televisions at?
Your pushing it as it is trying to get one for 200. a decent set will usually run you 500-1,000. you can look into refurbished sets online, that’s how I got my 50 inch, but even that is well over what your wanting to pay.
Best bet at finding a cheap TV is online. I don’t know about the states but in the UK. picked up a samsung lcd 32" 1080p for £375 online
the site was called firstaudiovisual but I don’t know if they would ship to america
but deffo try online.
Main thing you have to look out for if you’re going to buy a new TV, is make sure the TV says it displays “Full HD 1080p”
Even with the correct cables and equipment, the picture can also be a bit washy of what it is capable to be. Okay that doesn’t really matter but top TV’s are Samsung and they’re good for price. Panasonics are really good but they’re really expensive.
But a samsung is the way to go. After that I’d say sony, but you gotta look 'round because some sony bravias, hyped up to be the best, they can be really bad for quality
Hope this helps

Here are some pretty good, 1080p, 32 inch, under $500 choices. If you choose one of these, don’t forget to get an HDMI cable! Hope this helps
Shopping spree!
I was wondering. On the Pixartalk page, it says it will come in a 2-Disc DVD Special Edition, but I can’t seem to find evidence of that anywhere else, so does anyone know if a 2-Disc DVD will be available?
I actually really like the cover art! It shows everybody in great poses, I think it’s awesome. I can’t wait for this movie to come out so I can watch it over and over again!
So, the trilogy set pretty much has the coolest packaging ever.

Also, if you look you can see Stretch and Twitch on one of the TS3 discs.
Know when that comes out? I really want that. Also, if 3 disks are movies (4 for TS3) Will that mean that TS3 will have an extra disk for bonuses?
SRS: It comes out the same day as the other TS3 home releases (November 2nd). TS3 has two Bluray discs, along with a DVD and digital copy like all of the others. There’s no extra material in the trilogy set beyond what’s already in the current Blurays as far as I know.
I’m am totally going to buy that one now!
Ha! they used my idea! I’m sure they had it in mind before I did, I just think its funny that I came up with the same idea in this thread, page 7.
Now I have a dilemma, does it come with regular cases too? Because I’ll be looking to sell my current blu rays to trade up for this box set, however I like the Luxo Jr display I have as well. so do I want to display them with the lamp, or the toy box? if the box comes with normal cases with slip clovers I can simply go back and forth. but if not I’ll have to choose.
No one answered my previous question.
That trilogy box-set has some very nice looking packaging as well. With the addition of 3 DVD copies, you can’t go wrong with it if you don’t already own the films.
Wow, the toy chest is just amazing. I also love the mix of new promotional art with the classic blue sky, white cloud background. My interest level has definately risen with this.
The trilogy toy-box set looks great.
Depending upon the quality of the toy-box (plastic or carboard, etc), this is definitely tempting even though I normally avoid special packaging for DVDs.
I already own the old TS1 and TS2 pack. (The old one that came with extra features and a third disk. The one in the silver pacaging). Do you think I should still get this one?
I’m pretty sure that one still has the most bonus features. Unless someone can prove me wrong.
