Toy Story 3 Video Game.

In a couple pictures, I also saw Hand-in-the-box on top of some buildings.

Hmm, it wouldn’t be unheard of for all 3 console versions to get their own exclusive characters, something similar was done with the last Soul Calibur game and star wars characters. so the Wii might get someone like Lotso as an exclusive. Time will tell I guess. ofc ourse anyone I can think of seems lame compared to Zurg, but maybe they will eventually allow him to be bought through wiiware or something. kinda like how you could buy Yoda in the PS3 version of Soul Salibur on the PS3 version despite being exclusive to the 360.

I know when I was on here before I saw pictures that Prospector was in the game (I think it was from the DS version), so maybe he’s one.

New promo, with some exciting new footage.

Wow, I’m really impressed! This game is going to be so much better than Toy Story Mania (and better than the original Toy Story and Toy Story 2 video games even). Also, from this video it seems like the levels with Buzz on Zurg’s planet like in those prototype screenshots that we saw might have made it into the final game after all.

You know, when he said that Andy always uses Evil Dr. Porkchop, that’s not exactly true. What about One-Eyed Bart (A.K.A. Mr. Potato Head) in the first film? In fact, I would probably like it in the film if they had them team up or something. I’m not too worried about the spoilers in this since it’s just the game version of it.

[spoil]You’ll be happy to hear that One Eyed Bart is in the movie…he’s a bandit on the train or something to that effect.[/spoil]

The game looks like great fun. I hope that’s the score of the movie, too, I like all of the callbacks to the previous scores.

what gets me is i haven’t seen one sign of potato head in any of the various videos of the game i’ve seen :frowning: i have seen slinky though

Yeah, the thing I’ve noticed about Mr. Potato Head in the video games is that even though he’s a regular part of the cast they don’t always have him (probably has something to do with him being a licensed character). They did have him in the Toy Story Animated Storybook PC game, the video game for the first Toy Story, and in the Toy Story 2 video game to sell power-ups to Buzz, but he’s not in the Activity Center games or Toy Story Mania. I guess sometimes they use him, and sometimes they don’t.

Maybe Playskool have a problem with using him too much. Oh well. I’m sure he’s in the TS3 game.

I’m really getting hyped for this now, but c’mon, show us the Wii version. if it looks like crap I’d like to know ahead of time so I can lower my expectations. I know I have to lower than as it is since I cant play any other version. but I need to know just how much exactly. I want to know if the same level of effort is being put into that one. I want to believe it is, but too often does the Wii get neglected. Them avoiding showing or talking about it leads me to think they don’t have much confidence in it.

I didn’t hold much hope for this game but seeing it in action changed my mind. I was on the verge of selling my PS3 original 60gb because of lack of use. Now I’m thinking I should maybe hang on to it. I have a wii that gathers dust but if the gameplay was as good as it’s PS3 counterpart, I would buy that version. I have no doubt that the graphics would be poorer but I’m more worried about gameplay. I could sell my PS3 and use the money for the tsc wave 2. I hope some more info on the wii version appears soon.

Extensive write up on the Ps3 version, and new gameplay videos/screens.

They briefly mention not seeing any exclusives on other platforms, think that means they’ve played the Wii version? they don’t seem to mention it outside of that.

Anyway, I love the Buzz video game stuff. it looks exactly like the game in TS2 really. though I’m not sure why Buzz needs a blaster when he’s got a laser…

I don’t know either except that BLOSC Buzz used one.

And this is probably an odd question, but does anyone here miss the old Disney Interactive logo?

A couple of new trailers, I think.

The beginning of this one reminded me a lot of Rex giving Buzz hints in the Toy Story 2 video game. But what was all that gibberish about with the Dracula character? Is he supposed to talk like that?

This recent batch seriously has me salivating over this game. I pray the wii version isn’t the redheaded step child here.

The achievements for the Xbox 360 version are online. They provide a little more insight to the game.

If you end up selling it, send me a price!

Does anyone know if the film voice actors are lending their voices to the game? Hamm seems the same from what I’ve heard, but Woody’s seems off. Does anyone have a definitive answer?

Thanks
