The more I see,the more I want this game. I’m so glad I kept hold of my ps3.
Went to Toysrus today and they had a free game guide on a counter that you could take. It talks about Toy Story 3 the video game in it, It contains no information about the game itself besides some information about Wii and DS exclusives.
“Customers at Toys R Us will get a unique surprise of their own if they purchase the wii version of the game, which includes a limited edition 3D lithograph, with certificate of authenticity; or the DS version, which includes cool, collectible 3D trading cards!”
I’m guessing you only get these exclusives if you buy it form Toys R Us? The wording is a bit confusing. Also they show the cover of the case for the wii version of Toy story 3. It reminds me of the first Toy Story 3 advertisement (The one when Woody and the gang are getting ready for the movie). Could just be the case for Toys R us customers, who knows. I personally am getting the PS3 version, these exclusives really don’t cut the deal for me.
I wish there could be some mini game or something where you can fight hordes of generics. I know, i know, they’d be crazy to have that, but I love games where you tear through generics, and Toy Story 3 having one like that would be hog heaven for me.
Well its about time! its hard to judge anything from this poor quality, but so far its not so bad…but Im not holding my breath just yet. need to see more to get a better sense of how dumbed down it really is. graphically it seems decent.
at last some stuff from the wii version. Shame it’s from such an angle. It looks like it’s smooth and with decent graphics. It’s too far away to be sure though. It would make zero sense to dumb down this version. From what I can tell, it’s not a game that’s overly complicated anyway. Toy box mode seems to be pretty straight forward in execution. It’s hardly little big planet.
sounds interesting but what does it mean by "parts from other pixar films"?
I cant decide if I should be hyped or not, lol. every time I hear something promising, something tears it down, only to get built back up again. I cant wait for some reviews.

You can unlock themes based on other Pixar movies to use on buildings and stuff (ie. Finding Nemo buildings w/ Nemo’s fins and colors).
The Wii version looks OK, at least the levels appear to be straight out of the other versions, but I’ll stick to 360/PC.
This might actually be a good quality movie game! I’m very excited to play Toy Box mode and have already pre-ordered my copy of it for Wii. If I had a PS3 I would get it for that system, but unfortunately I do not. Looks like an amazing game!
Does anyone know if it’s Tom or Jim who’s voicing Woody?

It’s most likely Jim whos voiceing Woody
Yeah, pretty sure its Jim. It has that nasally sound to it.
A little hands on preview that sounds very positive about the game. Still nothing on the wii version though.
I wrote a preview for the website I work for, which can be seen here: n-europe.com/preview.php?prid=289
Its a shame more information about the Wii version hasn’t been released. Thanks to everyone in this thread for helping me write it though (either by directly answering questions or just posting info that has been of use).
