Toy Story Mania

Yeah I can totally understand why there was an 80 minute wait for it. I almost didnt go since I didnt want to make my family wait that long, but they were willing to humor me and thankfully it didnt take 80 minutes! (more like 45 or 50)

Is there a fast pass for that ride?

Yeah, I’m pretty sure there is.

I am going to hope so. I would hate to wait a long time.

Me too. I saw a video on Youtube that shows the whole ride, and it reminded me of like a better version of Astro Blasters.

Oh boy! I know that much. And based off the info on this forum, I have a pretty good idea on what the ride is like.

There is, but you have to get it as soon as you go in the park, by 1 o’clock they are gone! The first time I went on Toy Story Midway Mania (at DHS) it was broken so we got a fast pas for later, but the second time, we decided to get a fast pass around 3, but they were all gone, the cast member told us they were gone since 1 in the afternoon. When you go, remember one thing: PRIORITIZE.
BTW, you might want to hang around Pixar Place, they’re opening a shop, and I’m guessing they might have Pixar logo shirts sometime… It’s not open yet, so whoever goes next, report on its status.

Thanks for telling me that martini. I’ll remember that.

Yeah the fast passes were gone by the time I got there.

Wow, if they go that quickly, then I would imagine the fastpass lines might take just as long as the stand-by line.

I saw a video of this ride and it looks super awesome! I want to ride it so bad!

Well join the club Destination.

TSS- well let’s see, it was about 2 in the afternoon by the time I got to Toy Story Mania. And the Fast Pass line actually wasnt that long. I know for the one in Space Mountain the guy in that line told me he had only been waiting 10 minutes and the Fast Pass line was almost to the entrance for that one.

I went there last Wed. The line was about 45 minutes to get in. Though sadly, Potato Head didn’t remove his ear. What I wish is they’d do exclusive Mr Potato Heads in the store at the end wiith the same box and Carnival Barker items. Heck, that shot at the end showing the old office with the Midway Mania toybox open- I wonder just what was inside that box when it was MIB.

I rode the game with my sister. At first I wasn’t sure if I’d like it, but after the test, I soon realized that this would be pretty cool. By the end, I’d racked up 115,000 points with an accuracy of 30%. My other sister who was playing the game with our Dad got 120,000+ points, and my youngest sister got the highest accuracy: 36%.

I was wondering if it was Tom Hanks doing Woody’s voice or not, given that Hanks’ brother did the voice of Woody in the ‘Wall-E’ Superbowl commercial.

I think if I ever go back to DCA by myself, I’d ride it several times to get a higher score.

I hope they do in the future.
Disney, having created that giant [and amazing] Mr. Potato Head AA, people will be sure to fall in love with it and want to own one… So hopefully they do in the future.

Yeah I didnt see Mr Potato Head take off his ear either. Whatever. But anyway, I too think having actual toys of that Potato Head would be a fun thing to have.

I am looking forward on getting onto this when I go to WDW in either December or February.

I just went to disney world a 3rd time and they added something to pixar place
in disney world
They now have a very little outdoor pixar shop with only toy story things and an pixar logo t-shirt [ i had to buy it so i did] and a hat and a very exspensive and very nice coat.

Then they have a outdoor snack shop were you can get cold drinks and chips an more! [that i forget ]

And finally they have a meet and greet toy story characters indoor room.

i think this is very exciting news

P.S. i have some pictures of all of this but the problum is my scaner is not working but if it is fixed i will show them

Sounds great!
Hopefully WDW will massively focus on Pixar Place over the coming years.

Cool! I remember when I was there they had a little shop but it only sold Toy Story stuff, I dont remember it having anything with the logo on it, or else I probably would have bought it.
