Toy Story Replicas (No trading-related posts please)

thats cos there are two versions

Robodads seems to be the better one
plus if you look closey on the side they are different guitars

What you are showing in that picture are actually two seperate boxes. The vintage look of the original blue box has been replaced with the standard white and red TS3 box that all the rest of the merch has. At my Toys R Us we only have the new boxes, and it was a bit disappointing, even though I have no plans to buy one regardless of the packaging.

plus ones a toy story 3 guitar and ones a woodys roundup guitar

thet are far from close

Whoops, my bad. Not sure how I missed that in the store.

LOOL
Pixar/Disney really know how to milk our money

Well yeah, the real Chatter Telephone would be considered more of a replica cause it doesn’t have the character’s faces on it’s dial. Neither of them have those brows over it’s eyes like the one in the film does though.

No problem. What I will say is that the Woody’s Roundup version is awesomely good. Looking at the packaging and the guitar itself, if you didn’t notice the copyright on the back (and you had never heard of Toy Story) you would think it was the real deal, meaning that there must have actually been a WR show!

Is it really that Hidden?

So how accurate is the scale on the new stretch toy? She looks to be about half as tall as buzz which would make her roughly six inches

Tyler might enjoy making an outfit for Buzz so he can be ms nesbit lol

It’s actually so small that my aliens use it for a wig.

can everyone please please please vote on the toy story collection wave 3 topic please

Don’t spam other topics dude, its just annoying.

Can someone do me a favor? I cant remember my twitter login info so can someone ass Lee Unkrich how tall he considers twitch to be?

Not sure if it has already been mentioned, but in addition to the “standard/basic” Mattel Twitch, I also spotted a “deluxe” Twitch which was virtually identical to the “basic” Twitch, except perhaps 10% larger and included a “flapping wings” feature (for which they wanted an extra $10.00). The “deluxe” Twitch also did not come with his magical battle staff.

I passed on both, even though I originally intended to get the “basic” Twitch because the paint application was terrible on all the available figures (bright orange splotches all over the green body and none of the loin-cloths was properly painted). I might grab one “on sale”, but it’s an easy pass for now. They also had a “deluxe” evil Hamm in bowler hat from
the first film (or maybe it was the second one). Scale was way off (of course).

And I’m located in Australia and they were spotted at K-Mart as part of their new Toy Story stock. They also had the “small” Disney “collection” figures for $20.00 each, but they were another easy pass.

You mean the copyright info? It is in very small print on the back of the package.

Here is the back of the package:

Here is the copyright info. The area is highlighted in red in the photo above:

That is the only “real-world” reference to the films anywhere on the package. Everything else is just Woody’s Roundup info, and the actual manufacturer info (First Act, Inc).

I originally didnt want that guitar, but the lack of TS logos on it really appeals to me. Looks very “prop-y” that way. Thank you for the pics.

I’m not sure what we’re supposed to be seeing there, but that link contains a few things unsafe for kids eyes. (assuming there are any “kids” here?)

That was my thought exactly when I saw it in the store. The version with the TS3 logos all over it didn’t appeal to me at all, but this one looks just like something that would have been part of Al’s collection. That was enough for me to add it to mine. Still trying to find the harmonica somewhere. ANYwhere.
