Re: Toys R Us Exclusive 8" Big Baby
Does anyone know how wide the release of the TRU Exclusive āBig Baby/Buzzā two-pack has been in the US?
I really want the Big Baby to add to my āMattelā collection of Lotsoās Gang, but it doesnāt look like the two-pack is going to be released in Australia. However, Evil-Bay prices are ridiculous (they start at double the purchase price of $15.00 and then insist upon a ridiculous amount of shipping).
Iām hopeful that the two-pack will see a wide release in the US which should drive down the Evil-Bay prices, but if it appears to be a limited item then I may need to break down and purchase off Evil-Bay now.

It looks like the only place I can find it in the U.S. is TRU online. I havenāt seen it in store at TRU or any other store. Hope this helps!
Hey folks. Just saw Toy Story 3 on Ice here in Orlandoā¦in fact I am sitting in my car in the parking garage, typing on my phone, not going anywhere anytime soon. Just wanted to tell yāall that the TS Disney on Ice merch carts are still selling the Lenny binoculars and Bo Peep dolls that we have seen on here. Each is 12.00. And they now also have a plush Buttercup that I THINK is a little bigger than the DS beanie. I picked up a Lenny and a Buttercup. Pictures will come in a few daysā¦ But if Toy Story 3 on Ice comes you way, it might be worth your time and money just for the shopping opportunities. The show itself was crazy cheesyā¦but I like cheeseā¦so it was win/win for me.
Freaking sweet. And itās coming to Baltimore, MD, which is only like half an hour away from me. Iām gonna beg my parents to take me, not only for the Lenny, Bo Peep, and Buttercup, but also because I saw a clip of Toy Story 1 on Ice on YouTube, and I actually really enjoyed it. Soo, I thought Iād like this. Thanks for the update

She is as close to scale as any other Bo Peep has been. I am not a fan of this doll, but considering there arenāt too many options out thereā¦ Here is a link to ebay for an auction of her. ā¦though she does look better in person, and comes with a staff that is taller than she is (as it should be).

As for Buttercup:
He is actually only about an inch taller than the Disney Store beanie. Though his materials are more acurateā¦and his quality control is nearly non existent. I think the main reason I like him is that his body is wider and his legs are plumper than the beanie, making his over all proportions better. I am going to try and stuff his body a little more, hopefully fully extending his neck, and take some stuffing out of his mouth area in the next few days to see if I can get him looking a little betterā¦But all in all I do like him more than the beanie. A lot more.
That buttercup looks fantastic! Man I wish this show was coming here. I guess I will be ebaying that one

Mostly the same junk you see at an ice show or a circus: things that spin and light up, generic plush of the key characters, penants. Jessie, Buzz, and Alien mugs with fliptop hats that come with snow cone in themā¦
Instead of sleeping last night I went ahead and did the slight modifications I wanted to do to Buttercup and Lenny. Lenny I just printed black and white eye balls and taped them in place, so they will be easily removed if I wish. I am including a picture of all three Lennys. The Burger King, the Toy Story and Beyond, and the Disney on Ice. The Disney on Ice one feels a little too big to me. I still havenāt decided if he is going to be on display, or if I am going to keep out the Toy Story and Beyond one, which has a slightly more acurate sculpt but feels a little too smallā¦the perfect Lenny would be somewhere between these two.
Buttercup I popped open the seam on his back, took out a little of the stuffing in his lower jaw to allow his mouth to close. Then I sewed a couple of stitches in the mouth to keep it closed. I then added a significant amount of fiberfill to fill him out, and make him a bit more stable. It also stretched the length of his neck like I wanted and made him pretty darn perfect in my opinion.
I do still feel he is just a tad short, so in the display I have him standing on four wooden blocks. And I LOVE the size it makes him with everyone else. I am pretty happy with him.
