Toy Story Replicas (No trading-related posts please)

There was different painting and box variations for each Roundup Gang doll in the series. There was a box to reflect the black and white tone, faded sepia, and full color. To my knowledge the full color one came with the older box design, and the replica one (might be confusing it with the sepia, since they’re so similar). Wampar found another cheaper variation, which was pretty plain.

Yeah I’ve seen that one and I asked the seller how much he is by himself and he’s $1600 so I forgot about it, way to much.

Also oreo-94 does that mean you can’t get one of those prospectors?

Finally completed Lotso’s Gang:

And I finished Bo Peep’s Lamp but my sheep didn’t turn out to good so I’ll use the original ones for now:

And I’ll put up a complete collection soon, also is there anyone who is good at painting and willing to paint a set of troikas for me?

Hey jordo any plans on getting Utility Belt Buzz, and by the way what Peas do you have?

Actually he hadn’t crossed my mine, well no I’m going to try and get some background characters for my collection and RC but if I see one for a good price I’ll definitely get one. Thanks for the reminder
Also the peas are just the Disney store ones thanks to slink

Besides ebay, does anyone know where to find stinky pete in the box?

i couldn’t find one on ebay besides the one that came with Woody, Jessie, and Bullseye.

Darn. Well thanks for trying. I’m trying to decide if I want to spend 50 bucks on U B Buzz or save it for something else.

What did you do/how did you get that Big Baby? That looks fantastic.

If anyone is still hunting for Hamm like me, I hear they are showing back up so I’ve started looking again and Disney Store’s having a 20% off coupon this weekend, so if anyone’s got there eye on Disney store stuff or has tracked down a Hamm here’s a link to save a few bucks.

Thanks I got what kind of doll to get thanks to RoboDad from Sideshow forums. He had gotten one for like 50c in a yard sale and said it was a “American Girl” so I did a search on eBay and there was one and I got him. I drew on him a bit and am happy with the end result.
There’s a link to the one I got cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi … AUS%3A1123

I saw one lone Hamm sitting on a shelf at the Disney store. I really wanted it, but my friend wouldn’t let me go in.

And your friend was… your father? Why let your friend tell you what to do?

Anyway, I picked up a Hamm today to sell later. I noticed its paint job is much more vibrant, making mine look albino in comparison. I’m debating if I want to trade up and keep that instead of mine. My gripe with the new one though is that is has other various imperfections in the surface. little dents and scratches and whatnot. nothing major, but my current Hamm is much more flawless. only thing wrong with mine, aside from the color is the lack of gloss on the rest of his body. (seems they ran out after doing the head).

I’m really torn between the two.

It sort of depends on how you want to go with your collection. If you are going the “Andy’s Toys” route, then the ones with scratches is fine, because in the films all of the toys have some sort of wear and tear but since Andy treats his toys very well, there is nothing serious. So the new one would be perfect.

But if you are going for the Toys like Andy has, but not really Andy’s Toys side, then you’d be better off with the first one you picked up, as long as the gloss and color deal doesn’t bother you too much.

That’s just my 2 cents, but it’s really up to you and how you want to display them. And Dinoco, really? I would have just said, “That’s cool. You can stay out here, i’ll be back in a minute.” lol.

The scratches and imperfections Im referring to are not ones of wear and tear though, it was like that before it got painted, since the paint and gloss itself is in tact.

I just created a new topic. It is a tsc wave 3 wishlist. For anyone who wants to share their lists here’s the link.

Gotcha. Well, it still depends on which one you think will look better with the rest of your collection. If you are planning on selling the one you don’t hang on to, since the flaws are just cosmetic, like Hamm’s not cracked or chipped or anything so if you are going to sell the other one, the buyer will just be happy to get their hands on one of them.
