I got stuffed animals of Twitch, Chunk, and Sparks for Christmas, although I specifically asked for the 10" 25$ figures that you can get at Toys R’ Us. I think it was just a misunderstanding, but I really don’t mind the stuffed animals, I think they’re kinda cute. I’m not saying anything about it to my parents though… I might post some pics of my collection later today.
YAYY! I got lotso,r.c and chatter-phone today. I got the non collection r.c though…
My parents didn’t know there were 2 versions but, they said they would return it and get me the collection one.
I dont know if you have seen it or not,
But TinkerToy boxes seem soooo slim than the one from the movie
do you think it could be possible to find this same kind of box ?
as big and as tall of that one ?
Searching doesn’t bring much up. Although, it would be odd if Pixar just made up the textures for it (maybe because they didn’t have the rights to use Legos?).
Still, these kinds of things are pretty rare, so it could very well exist; just try looking for an original Playskool Rockin’ Robot (Mr. Mike).
From the first picture, the Doodle Pad is about 6.5 inches long, and about 6.2 inches wide. The length was vaguely scaled to TSC Woody, while width was just an approximation.
i have several vintage ones but the newer ones from that time period did have plastic lids. I looked and didn’t find any 35 piece sets. I could recreate the label no problem in illustrator if we could come up with a general size. The lid still doesn’t look more than 6-7" wide anyway.
I’m going to search through ebay and will be hitting some thrift stores tomorrow anyway and might find something
This is pretty close as far as the lid goes , but not the label. this might be good to make a weight set for rocky too.
Anyways, the time period that these would be made would have to be 1992-1995, so that shouldn’t be too hard.
Scaled to Woody, it would be just a little bit less than 11 inches tall.
Yeah, I only have a couple parts left, but they were big in the 90’s. I had a set, but it came in a box (of course I recreated that scene multiple times).
I guess one theory is that they wouldn’t want pictures of real kids on the bin. Otherwise, the templates are almost identical. Same background, logo position, and yellow stripe at the bottom.
