Did they say how much they would be and were there other toys too or just the ones you mentioned?
No price detail and no time frame detail were visible. I didn’t talk with the reps from Vivid as it was in a closed off by appointment only booth (I didn’t have a professional need to see them) but there was a window into their booth that so very conveniently was right in front of the TSC toys 
I would imagine that that is all that is planned for this year, but I wouldn’t count on seeing all of them at retail
Why might some of them not be at retail? 
Disappointed about Zurg not being TSC, his box would have been awesome.
Might get twitch since he has his staff and I never bought the original.
I need to see how accurate Pricklepants is. Being plush I somehow doubt they were able to pull it off. They didn’t do very well with Lotso in my opinion. But I realize its hard to get shapes that match the movie in the real world.

Dissapointed that there’s no sign of the prospector and similarly Mrs potato head.
The main ones I was hoping/expecting to see were Zurg and the prospector. if Zurg is to scale I’ll get him. something tells me he’ll be too short to be in scale. do you know how tall he is? he’s supposed to be taller than Buzz, but I’m thinking he’ll be the same size.
Same reason we didn’t see Hamm. lack of interest.

Also does that mean that wave 3 will be Mr Pricklepants,Twitch Big Baby,Dolly and Buttercup? That would suck because I don’t think we need another Twitch, and I already have a Big Baby and isn’t the Disney on ice Buttercup in scale? All I really want is a Zurg,Prospector and Trixie. 
The current buttercups are too small. Not to mention inaccurate looking. And once again, nothing is locked in, they still need to gauge interest.

The Zurg I saw was definately taller than Buzz, by several inches I would say. As Kyle said, retailer interest is what will get these guys on shelf. The thing in collectors favour is that Bonnies toys didn’t get onto the Grocers toy shelves (ASDA, TESCO, SAINSBURY’s) and these retailers have much more power and influence than The Disney Store so there is a chance we could see them.

ROFL YEAH I DID :') ! hahha XD well actually there’s a kind of sculpey in france (prob overseas too), its sculpey with several colors, and when you put it into the oven, it looks really clean and fluid ? i would say lol

If true this is excellent news. Wave 3 isn’t perfect, but still gives us quite a bit to look forward to. I wonder what the chances are of a 4th wave after this? possibly in the 4th quarter of this year?
I wonder just how TSC esk Zurg will be. Will it have the Zurg vision? Also, do you remember seeing his ion blaster? Im curious if they’ll even bother including that since I somehow don’t see them including a working one.
The blaster was there!! I know he’s not TSC but he is the one I got most excited about, don’t know about Zurg vision, my worry is that with it being a U COMMAND toy this kind of cool realistic to the movie toy feature might have ben dropped
Emma in Candyland, what paint have you used for your troikas? Are you planning to use a satin varnish to seal them? The troikas in the movie had a bit of a shine to them.
My guess is that the sheer volume of new toys would constitue several waves, I could be wronf but it seems like a lot of high price items to release in one hit, I can see them distributing them over several waves.
Yes I think I will ! But i duno what kind of varnish i should buy, cuz actually ive melted my watercolors and my acrylic painting to make it 
(cuz was scared that the watercolor would be too much clear and the acrylic too much dark, i mean xD yeah anyway)
Between, I think that they will out mrs potato head, Zurg, probably stinky pete, as they have made the whole woodys roundup characters and maybe trixie, as she’s in the same “collection serie” as dinosaur toy
so yeah we will see, any date ? do you guys know more about the next coming wave ?
I found a great satin spray varnish in my local hardware store, I couldn’t find anything in actual artshops, test a small area first…you don’t want to ruin your awesome paintwork! I’m sure you’ve aready said but what did you use for your hockey pucks feet?
Regarding dates for the next wave, at the earliest I would say June…The only reason I say this is the Hawaiian Buzz and Woody I saw which I think tie in with the short that goes before Cars 2.
Man, for some reason I wasn’t thinking. I forgot what u command was until I googled it just now. Suddenly I’m not really looking forward to it that much. The u command buzz isn’t very accurate looking. I can only assume they’ll butcher Zurg in a similar way. When I first read your post I was thinking it would be as good as the cheaper versions of woody and buzz, which would have been good enough, so long as the lack of a movie accurate box doesn’t bother you too much. But now I have to lower my expectations more. At best I guess I can at least own something better than a modified cup that some fans here do. Then again the toy in the movies does seem to be a u command type toy, since he must have wheels.

A U-command Zurg has every chance to be well done. The u-command buzz is over scaled, but a zurg in the same size would be perfect size. He’ll have his gun, which is great. Zurg from the film had wheels so the remote control aspect is no problem. The biggest issues with the Buzz were the feet and the backpack, Zurg has neither.
I’m also hoping his face will light up, but part of me doubts it.
Not having seen pictures, I’m really only worried about the price.

Thought it a good opportunity to chime in. As a UK reading i am very interested in whats potentially in wave 3 of the TSC. A UC Zurg wouldn’t be terrible, as long as the price tag was reasonable.
Doomseeker, how was the Zurg sculpt? Was he screen accurate or close too?
As it was only the UK toy fair, with Thinkway toys via Vivid, is there any chance were only seeing what could be released in the UK? A mean we didn’t get the DS Hamm or the TSC 3 pack little green men, so is there still a chance that a TSC Zurg and/or Prospector could be shown at next months NY toy fair? From there UK collctors could import a Zurg or Prospector (at last).
This is my hope as well, but I don’t think we’ll be seeing a Prospector. They would need to make a new computer model of him first, as I don’t think the old ones work anymore, and they would have to either get Kelsey Grammar or find a good replacement for the voice. It seems like a lot of work for what Thinkway probably views as a minor character. All the other toy story collection toys were in toy story 3, and they most likely got the actors to do extra lines while they were doing the ones for the film, just to be used for this.
I still hoping for a Trixie though, she seems much more likely than Prospector, and would be easier to make than the plush characters. The only problem is, I don’t know why they wouldn’t be selling her in the UK.

The sculpt was good. As I say I first saw Zurg 2 years ago when he was planned as a TSC toy, the toy I saw looked like the same sculpt, but it is possible it’s been altered to accomodate the U COMMAND features.
My experience with the Toy Industry is that what I saw is all that is available, I would be shocked if they held something back - the only reason they would do this is if they have a retailer exclusive (something not done with TSC - apart from UK Disneystore Jessie) Anything is possible but I would be supprised to see something new at US Toy Fair. BTW we did get the 3 pack Little Green Men - I bought a set from TRU in York! The DS Hamm - the only reason(as I understand it)that the UK didn’t get it was a buyer choice for Disneystore UK. I really hope that they have a few more supprises at USA Toy Fair but I’m not holding my breath.
I fear I have really pushed this thread off in a tangent and away from the great work everyone has been showcasing
