anyone know where to find great shape barbie clothes?

Sorry guys for deleting the picture, i was wondering if i would get in trouble for that. But i don’t think i can be prosecuted for sharing a photo with some toy story fans, just dont ask me where he come from because i dont know. The only thing i know is that he was one of two prototypes made. Enjoy it

Read the comments, its not being produced.

Great looking product, thanks for the link Reaper. The guy who posted the photo got a bit touchy when you asked where it had come from…

Emma-in-candyland…LOVE your TIKES. What are you working on next?

Did you get my pm?

Re: Chuckles

Wow. The proto-type Chuckles looks great.

Considering the quality, surely it was intended to be a Thinkway release? I don’t think Mattel or Disney Store would have produced such a screen-accurate replica. It’s a shame it won’t be released.

Re: Great Shape Barbie

I’m guessing you mean the original Great Shape Barbie? Ebay would be your best chance of grabbing the clothes. I think the clothes on the Caucasian and African-American Great Shape Barbies are identical and (probably due to the success of Toy Story) since the Caucasian Great Shape Barbie sells for much more, it would probably be cheaper to simply buy the African American Great Shape Barbie.

BUT, I don’t think the original Great Shape Barbie clothes properly fit the “new” Great Shape Barbie. From memory, the people on these boards with the most screen-accurate custom Barbies, used the “new” Great Shape Barbie head on an “old” Great Shape Barbie body with a combination of the “new” and “old” clothes.

Might have been a thinkway prototype, but i would think thinkways final model would have the plastic head.

yeah, the great shape barbie from 2010 looks like a hooker.they should redo her in my opinion

That chuckles isn’t very accurate anyway if you ask me. his shoes are too large for one. his hair is wrong, his head should be hard. it looks almost wooden in the movie, but plastic would do. His eyes need to have those sculpted sockets which you cant do with plush.

So while sure, it’d be better than nothing but a buddy figure, I’m kinda glad their not making it. I don’t want to feel obligated to get it. (because if its in scale I probably would)

Edit: also, I find it curious that they would choose a frown as his default face. they typically chose a big ol grin, even for Lotso. a frown would fit his character, sure. but his toy mode face was more marketable I would imagine.

I doubt it was a Thinkway Prototype…it’s possible, but I’m guessing it wasnt a major name like Mattel or Thinkway

I’ve been thinking that his hard parts are supposed to be some kind of thick rubber, that’s definitely what the shoes and hands seem to be, so maybe the head is too?

I don’t care if its 100% accurate or not, that would look amazing with the collection. WHY OH WHY couldn’t they make this? I would have payed 50 bucks for this!

the chuckles looked great as kyle said it has its faults and the feet are HUGE but if it were released id buy one
