tyler, did you make that seperate thread for the hockey puck and slink yet. if you did can you post a link, i can’t seem to find it
He said he’s not posting it til monday, not sure where you heard him say otherwise.
“Full pictures tonight in a seperate thread.” -Tyler
Ahh, well I assume it just took him longer than he expected. I’ve learned to add at least a few days, if not a week to when he claims he’ll do things. Its nothing against him, I have the same problem. Time is a hard thing to predict when your trying to do a lot at once.
true. im just excited to see what they both look like finsihed
I have an idea for a slink coa its a crude mauk up but best I could do.[/img]
I’d buy that in a heartbeat, if it was under $10.
Im not gona do it its just what i thought a slinky dog coa would look like.
Well i just got back from my local ToysRUs and no luck finding any other wave 3 toys just Mr.P which we had for a wile and new buzz. But i did grab the TS3 Barbie Made for each other dolls, which are Barbie and Ken. Pics with my Woody,Hamm,Solders, and Chatter telephone coming soon.
Awesome PlayNice820
you should post them on the thinkway toy story collection topic ^.^
Also Tyler, you probably already knew this but just in case you didn’t
the slinky in toy story could move his legs
I remember seeing his leg hinged up in toy story 2 when the mom was looking for toys to sell in the garage sell
I’m not sure if its the same for the arms though
His feet have the hinges, the legs are swivel joints.
I’ve got a question for Tyler: could you also make the Droikas?
With those, as member Wampar/Tommy pointed out, a blank nesting set (wooden or plastic) is all that is needed. Then its a matter of painting them all via stencils, free hand, etc.
Here’s some screencaps of them to get the pattern off of. But, if any of you photoshoppers would want to take elements from the cap, to make actual patterns, those could be applied by each person as a little fun kit. Or if I get a chance, I’ll do that and upload here the stencils for free, that way everyones paint is nice and crisp, etc.

Same with the bucket, if we could get someone to make a new label, we can all put them on the larger buckets they’re supposed to be:

That is the only bucket I’ve seen like that, cant find any blanks buckets. I got mine from plaster of paris, the 8 pound kit. Ive looked and looked everywhere, and the either have the wrong lid, wrong reinforcment etc, this one looks very close. Better than the little ice cream bucket thinkway sends out.
Folks were wondering what I was doing for Mr. Ps eyes. You can see Tommy/Wampars originals, and also clay and resin castings off those eyes.
The undersides of the eyes will have castings of the actual plug/hex male plug, so they fit right in, and allow the pop feature to still be employed.
Another good thing about resin cast eyes, is that they wont have the little indentions running horizontially because of the injection and sprues on the other side. Its faint, but all of the mr p eyes have it.
Just a pic for those wondering what I was exactly doing to maintain the accuracy, will making fully seperated eyes.
Thats so awsome yes You do great work Tyler cant wait I know there going to look awsome.
How goes your work on Puck Tyler? You mentioned you were trying to refine your original piece.
Someone else had actually pointed out the nesting eggs on here. But when they were mentioned I had already ordered a set. It made me happy that someone else had found them. The only problem is that I am still waiting for mine to ship. The supplier I ordered from has them on backorder and has told me that they are not able to get more in from Russia because of the volcanic ash. They claim they will ship by the end of the month…but we will see…still waiting. ![]()
The larger size in the film was to compensate for more army men, and an official source states that it’s exactly 200. I’d like to try to make a listing of all the army men in the movie as well, because the TSC version didn’t include a few/added extras.
Anyways, I heard the Troikas were based off of a real-life Playskool toy called Nesting Farm Animals. Does anyone own these/have pics? These 90’s toys are really hard to get info on.
thats awesome tyler
is it possible to give him his blank stare
I like that look =D
He’s already mentioned that he is.
Anyway, still no finished slink pics?
