Iād honestly just go with the āmade for each otherā set and be done with itā¦they are close enough for my tastesā¦just make sure you get the right ken sculpt
I just found out my TSC Bullseye is in town and he is waiting for me at my post office. I ordered him online on the Disney Store. Wish me luck that he is not all messed up⦠So worried. I really took a gambol when i bought him onlineā¦
EDIT:
I got my Bullseye. HE LOOKS GREAT! I love him! I have pictures. I donāt understand why people complain about the stand cause the stand to me is perfect. I put Buzz, Woody and Jessie on Bullseye. No i did not use the TSC Woody or Buzz cause they really arenāt the toy i really love. I grew up with that Buzz and Woody. But any-who Buzz and Woody sit great on Bullseye. Jessie was difficult but i got it. There is no tape or twist ties or any thing to hold them up, they are sitting on Bullseye by them selves.
There is also the new Hawaiian Vacation set which has the accurate headsculpt for Ken. The āoutfitsā arenāt from Toy Story 3, but theyāre āmatchingā and are based on their appearances in the Hawaiian Vacation short.
I say the Hawaiian Vacation Ken and Barbie thatās the one i got and they look GREAT! Well Ken does! Barbie is great but she doesnāt seem exact from the movie.
I have my extra of that lenny up for trade. Only problem is a bit of the raid paint on his wind up key was rubbed off when i got him revealing the clear plastic underneath. Its really not TOO noticable since the clear hole just shows through to the other red paint, but yeah.
If I am lucky I might get the toy story on ice lenny for just 48 bucks as long as no one else bids on it which I doubtā¦It has 23 hours on it and my uncle is going to be watching it since he owes me a gift from my last birthday but I told him do not spend more then 60-70 on it.
Unfortunately, my Shark broke. Iāve been working on a new one with an 85% accurate design which is turning out to be much harder than I thought. Iām basically doing an original sculpt around a base cut together from two shark toys, one dolphin, and one squeaker I pulled out of a dog toy. The only things keeping it from perfection are its inability to squeak, itā.s made out of sculpey instead of rubber, and the head is 2-3 times too thick to keep it from falling off, although Iām going to try my best to fix that before itās finished.
The good news is, since the final sculpt is mine, I might be able to make a mold to duplicate it. So, would anyone be interested in a near-perfect Mr. Shark? If so, whatās the most youād be willing to pay for one? Right now, my estimated cost put it in the $60-90 range plus shipping, but depending on how many folks want one, it could end up being cheaper. Please only respond if you are serious, and will be able to make this purchase in 2-3 months. I need 95-100% firm commitments from people if Iām going to start this process now.
ā¦And if no one can afford it, Iāll just make mine and be happy.
