Anyway, nice pics. He looks great. What were your minor fixable quibbles? Think you could give us a side by size of him next to Woody?
One minor complaint I have based on the pics so far is the swirls I’m seeing in the plastic. Its the kind of thing you see in McDonalds toys and cheap dollar store toys. But I guess given the price that’s what you have to tolerate. I thin I’ll try to find this in person to avoid this the best I can. Maybe its less obvious on some than others.

My disney store didn’t get Zurg in today. I said screw it and ordered it online, I hate how late my disney store is sometimes and this would be the item that takes forever.
Looking at the pics, I’m supremely satisfied, it lacks perfection, but is pretty darn good, and way better than the zurg I was going to custom out of the cup.
Now for a Trixie/Rex set!! lol

- no “Look Here” with Zurg symbol on back of head

The swirls could be a very bad thing. If I remember correctly, plastic that has those types of swirls is notorious for not aging well.

Honestly I heard it somewhere from a tranformer collector. I googled it just now and what I easily found was this: tfwiki.net/wiki/Gold_Plastic_Syndrome
But I know I’ve seen people talk about non-gold colored plastic having the same issues as described in that link.
Edit: For people short on time to read that, basically swirly plastic with a metallicish sheen has a bad reputation for breaking down.

Yeah this plastic thing is kind of a bummer. It’ll be nice to have zurg, but it doesn’t sound like he’s built to last. Maybe by the time he breaks down We’ll have a Thinkway version. Maybe that was the plan all along to announce a new one just as these start to fall apart.
Honestly, I highly doubt that disney is making zurg out of the same crappy plastic as the 1980s transformer toys. Even if its not “built to last” I’d say minimum display shelf life is 20+ years. If one toy in my collection breaks down when I’m almost 50, I’ll probably be able to accept that.

The cost of petroleum has gone way up since then, so lot of companies are using this low grade plastic. This is probably how they were able to afford to make a full scale Zurg. Had it been higher quality plastic, it would have been buzz sized. (speculating of course)
Ah yes!! I think Zurg is brilliant! I don’t care about the swirls in the plastic or the fact that his blaster balls aren’t the correct colour, I am just so damn happy that we have an almost perfectly to scale Zurg! I will sit him on my shelf with pride. I’m not going to hate on him over a few minor flaws, I mean, I don’t hate on woody because his smile isn’t closed or his fingers are stuck together. There has always been a spot in my collection that needed filling with a Zurg and I think we’ve finally got him.
I have everything crossed that we will, sometime in the future get a almost perfectly to scale Stinky Pete.

That Zurg is a very nice product! I havent been on for a while and im giving my nephews and nieces my toys. 
I have a terminal disease unfortunately to have thought I would die at 15
