I’m sorry but this is kind of disrespectful, I understand you can’t believe everything you see on the internet but that doesn’t mean you can just claim he would make something like this up.

I tend to agree. People who are terminal generally (Not everyone mind you, but generally) don’t try to project that kind of info at random. They usually want support but not pitty.
Getting back to the topic, yes I’d eager to know what his phrases are, and how close it sounds to Stanton.

Hi guys… Here’s Zurgs phrases;
“Surrender Buzz Lightyear, I have already defeated you!”
“Wait, no… Don’t you realise the time has come for us to join forces!?”
“Together we could rule the quadrant, and then the galaxy!”
“Buzz Lightyear, it’s time you learned the truth.”
“I am your father!”
“Now my son, join me or prepair to meet your doom!”
“Hahahahahahaha, come to me my pray!”
“I shall destroy you with my iron blaster!”
“Charrrrrrrrrrrr!!”
“Ahhhh!!”
“Ahrrrrrrrrrr!”

His voice (in my opinion) is great! This toy really does the character justice.
Well, they got the phrases right. That’s pretty much everything he says in the movie, and more. Could they have went the extra step and added a “destroy Buzz Lightyear,” though?
But from what I’ve seen, it’s all been good. He’s obviously not perfect, but it’s better than I expected from the first Zurg figure. I mean, it reminds me of the first Buzz Lightyear; he was innaccurate by film standards, but was still a quality product and well-received at the time. Give it some time, and we’ll have a better Zurg. But for the time being, this isn’t bad at all (better than nothing, that’s for sure).
I dont expect to see a new Zurg. It was unlikely to et him now as long as its een since TS2 and disney store likes to use the same figures for as long as possible. I love this Zurg. There are a few things I’d change but its easily an A in my book.
I wouldn’t count Thinkway out of the race already (though agree with your statement about the Disney Store, though).
Also, I can say that one should not be discouraged to buy Zurg because of the so-called Gold Plastic Syndrome. Yes, it’s probably lower quality plastic, however, with a large toy like this, it shouldn’t be an issue; especially for collectors. I mean, Transformers involves smaller toys with small moveable parts put under stress for normal use. With bad plastic, that spells disaster. Unless Zurg has ratchet joints like Buzz, he should be fine for a long time.
I don’t see Thinkway starting back up unless they made a 4th film. And even then, it’d likely be releasing toys from the new film and not continuing a line they abandoned prior.
All we have is speculation. You really never know when they’re going to come out with something new; it’s not guaranteed that there has to be with a new film anyways.
Im just basing that off of Thinkways history. They didnt make new TS product unless there was a film being released. The TSC was the closest thing to an exception since it lasted so long. Another company might make them since other companies have taken over often, but I dont think it will be Thinkway or Disney Store.
Well lets not forget when Hasbro done into back in TS1
Hasbro is the other company that might get reinvolved. That or Mattel.
