Yes Mr Spell in the second movie has actually 2 buttons on the very bottom, but I wanted to have the one from the 1st movie somehow
Hello everyone!
I havenāt posted anything in a while but Iāve been lurking
Anyway, I know I said that I will only collect Andy and Bonnieās toys but I couldnāt contain myself when I saw Small Fry Buzz. Heās an honorary Bonnie toy right?
Anyway I saw that basically all of you left him in his packaging. And while his packaging is awesome I knew I needed him out. I received him today and had him out in the matter of 5 minutes. And before you ask, his set up is not destroyed in the slightest. You can manage to put everything back the way it was once you get him out.
Now the figure itself is a lot more jointed than I thought. His arms can move 360 degrees as well as his wrists. His legs can go up so he can sit and alas there are wheels on the bottom of his feet. Itās a fantastic little detail that I absolutely love. Theyāre a bit smaller than what they were in the short however. And he can stand up by himself despite the wheels. I had to try Woodyās hat on top of his helmet and it fits perfectly! I canāt find a single thing wrong with this figure. I absolutely adore it!
I can also confirm that Buzz can be opened. If you look at the corners on the pink part of his smallest box, there is tape. Cut the tape, then you can disassemble and reassemble the box. Buzz is great Way more articulation than I thought. The eyes were painted off center on mine but oh well.
Can you post a pic of the wheels?
Iām in disneyland for the week but I will when I return
Well, though I resisted at first, I did break down and bust Buzz out of his box. It does seem reasonably easy to reassemble if I decide I want to display him back inside of it. Hereās a few pics of Buzz in his newly liberated state:
His shoulders are articulated so you can move his arms up and down and rotate them. His hands also rotate at the wrist. His legs move, but not much, so you can pretty much only make him sit down. He does have wheels on his feet as seen below. The combination of his top-heavy design and the wheels make him a little tricky to stand upright sometimes.
āGet along, little piggy! Yeehaw!ā
Awesome, thanks for taking the time to post the pics!
Awwwww. The Small Fry Buzz is so adorable. If only he wasnāt so gosh darn expensive!
Yeah, he is a bit on the pricey side on Ebay and the like. I mean, they did a fantastic job making him look like the toy from the short film, but since said toy is a kids meal toy, that means he doesnāt translate into an overly impressive figure on his own. By design, heās supposed to look kind of cheap. The incredibly detailed packaging is what really sold me, honestly. I mean, he comes inside three boxes, and theyāre all pretty interesting!
Just got back from Toyās R Us and was surprised to find 4 of the Signature Collection Mr Pricklepants for sale on the Toy Story aisle. Anyone know that he was coming? Or for that matter if Dolly and Buttercut are on the way next???
