Let that be a lesson for everyone… Get the disneystore Zurg while you can only 30 bucks shipped beats paying ebay 100+ once disneystore stops production.
well, the price went up.
Does anyone have a clear Stinky Pete box template that is printable and size accurate?
I’ve done some searching but could only find a template which states the box size and length. Nothing is high quality. Appreciate any help. Thanks.
I lucked out and managed to get a hold of a 1983 The Farmer Says toy. It’s in the right colors and style and says the correct phrases as per Toy Story 3

Now I need to find the whole Lotso gang -Omar
Too bad he is not the same size as the original. He is too small to be in scale, but for those of us who missed him, such as me, $20 for this one sure beats the $100+ price of the original on EBay. Ultimately, I am very glad that they brought out a Hamm Bank again, smaller or not.
Wasn’t expecting that.
But this one’s smaller you say? How much smaller? I guess no one here has one yet? I’d like to see him next to something for scale. Some might actually prefer this scale, as his size fluctuates a bit in a movies. He seems smaller in the final scene of TS3 for example when Andy holds him. I know I can’t quite grab him the way Andy does with one hand. But if this one is around the scale of the plastic one released during the toy movie’s run, that would probably be too small for me.
Not that I’m looking for one necessarily.
I’m just wondering if the aftermarket price for the ones I do have will go down.
Edit: found a listing that shows the box.

Its kinda funny, had they used a neutral pose like his toy mode I might be jumping at the chance to buy one of these. If the size wasn’t too small that is. Still don’t have a feel for the size.
Looks pretty similar to the previous one to me. He’s got his head cocked and turned to the side. His mouth is open in a similar manner, but he doesn’t have teeth like the previous version. The paint apps look good on him, though. The 1995 Hamm is an exact replica in terms of sculpt/pose, but the scale is the only thing wrong. The Disney Store Hamms also use a more accurate resin.
The measurements that the website provide for this Hamm are:
5’’ H x 4.5’’ W x 8’’ L
Where as the original is right around 25 percent larger at:
6.5’’ H x 5.5’’ W x 11’’ L
So, I’m in the process of adding the Tinkertoy container to my collection…
In my quest to make that happen I ended up with two different containers…
This one dated 1991…
And this one dated 1993…
The two containers are very different in scale, but they were two different sets. The smaller is the “Big Builder” set, which was the smallest of the 4 sets available, the other is the “Dynamic Designs” set, which was the next size up.
The 91 sets came with red lids, the 93 with blue. So while the 93 tube artwork was used, the red 91 lid was chosen for Toy Story, most likely just for color contrast.
When scaled to a screen shot, obviously the “Big Builder” set is sized accurately. Aside from that, it was in fact the 93 version of the “Big Builder” set that appeared in Toy Story…
Since my Woody is on a thick based doll stand I used a DVD case to get the Tinkertoy container up to the right height for this…
Here he is actually behind the “podium”…
And as you can see, the canister is the proper height when compared to a screen shot…
It’s this shot however that kills the entire thing…
See that there…he’s standing on blocks behind the container…
So I raised him to the height that those blocks had him…
And he’s to short for the tall container…
And way to tall for the container that had previously been perfect…
So what gives? Well since the smaller 91 container is no doubt accurate in scale, my guess is that the Toy Story Collection Woody was simply produced about an inch and a half taller then he should have been. Now I just have to create accurate artwork for the smaller 91 container, and I can add this to my collection…stay tuned.
Wow, I never even noticed he was standing on blocks the entire time! The perspective is all over the place on this scene. The 91 set is most likely the basis for the one in the film, I’m assuming they redid the label so that it didn’t have real kids on it. Also, I believe someone here DID do the artwork for the TinkerToys label. It might be a task to dig for it, though.
EDIT: Well that took sooner than I expected. Here’s one by Evan84:

And here’s wampar’s:

Wampar did an amazing job. Even though it also includes the wooden TinkerToys on part of it, that area of the label was never seen in the movie.
Hi guys! How’ve you all been, I hope you’ve all been keeping well?
Crikey, its dying off a bit these days isn’t it. Sad
So I’m currently working on a range of extra ‘RoundUp’ characters, Over the upcoming weeks im going to make the following characters at UNI, very exciting:
Poppy:
An overly enthusiastic fan of Woody and the gang, she dreams of being part of Woody’s Roundup herself when she’s older. She may even at times lend a hand to the gang as and when she can.
Wicked Willy:
The ultimate bad guy of the wild wild west. Woody’s sworn nemesis, he’s bad to the bone. Convinced that one day he will marry Jessie, or any maiden for that matter. Robbery is his thing.
Grams:
Jessie’s Grandmother, her cooking is to die for! She’s funny and she often offers the gang advice on how they can catch Wicked Willy!
Wampers is close, but it’s actually still not as accurate as I’d like. I should be able to knock out the new label this weekend.
I made an accurate label ages ago, but I lost the file sadly, can’t be bothered to make it again. However, yeah I knew Woody was standing on a block, which is the reason why I chose the taller Tinkertoy container, it was more accurate in my opinion, and the blocks are actually bigger in the movie than the regular sizes that can be seen online…
By the way guys, I finally have the Robot, he looks absolutely stunning!
He lights up and stuff ^^
Aw, now that’s just sweet. You made Snake too, right? They should display well together.
My god Emma that’s just amazing I absolutely adore your robot was it your own creation or did someone else make it either way its incredible
The Robot prop, as well as the Mr. Spell prop, were built by the talented Mike Iverson…
YUP! And a good friend of mine, amazing person, amazing talent, highly recommend him
I have been the one who requested Mr Spell and the Robot
im so getting hamm if i can.
DOOMBUGGY
I estimated the Tinkertoy to be somewhere between 10.5-11" I cut mine down to 10.5, by the time you put the lid on and the metal rim on the bottom it stands about 10.75". Hope this helps.
