Toy Story Replicas (No trading-related posts please)

I’m sure this has been asked before, but I couldn’t find a posting that provided a clear answer.

Is there a screen-accurate Slinky Dog available that does not have a hole between his eyes for the pull string? The only Slinky Dog figures that I have been able to find down under have a pull-string right between the eyes and even once removed, it would leave a visible “hole” in its place.

I’ll probably just grab the “hole” version, but I would like to know whether there is a version without the hole available.

Many thanks for any assistance.

As for the question about Great Shape Barbie, I thought the original wasn’t entirely screen accurate either since it has a different belt, hair, hair-accessory and shoes (non-heels). It would seem that the best “version” would possibly be a TS3 Barbie with the original “Great Shape” Barbie leotard, but everything else from the TS3 version.

I’m making a Dolly and Peas in a Pod, but I need to buy the supplies for them still, and I’m broke.

Probably after Scout Camp and Computer Camp, because if I mow the lawn after both, I’ll get 20 bucks.

Thanks Kyle. Much appreciated.

I’ll just grab a “third eye” Slinky Dog for my collection.

I think I had a Bo Peep that was really accurate, but it seems it’s gone…

I know I had a Bullseye that was pretty accurate, but we left him behind somewhere.

Happy Birthday

Any reason why you are making Peas in a Pod? The one sold at Disney store looks pretty good although the pod may be a tad large and the zipper is off.

Hey Guys -

New around here. I already posted this in my “list of Ken Outfits” thread but I figured I’d cross post for people to see.

I modified my “made for each other” Ken to be a little bit more accurate…

Here’s how it looked…

and After…

Overall Shots -

The Collar and neck line moved down -

Belt loops removed and belt raised / shirts sleeves shortened and cuffed correctly -

Shorts Shortened and “Le Poof” -

Back of the collar -

You did a great job on that!

That settles it, I’m hunting for the 2 pack now with the latter more accurate head.

hello after thinking over it alot I am no going to get the TSC Potato head. but I do wanna know if some one will be willing to make a FA version of him made out of the ceaper Mr. P and Mrs. P ?? with the 2 eyes and the 2 sep feet ? anyone ?

I reccomend waiting for Hasbro’s film accurate Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head that they’re coming out with. Speculation is that it’s just a non-electronic TSC version, but that’s still good. There’s a good chance of seperate feet, but eyes are a choking hazard (but if they’re cool like with TSC, they’ll make 2 seperate eye holes for the modders).

It’s really too bad pixar bought all those animal lovin ken dolls. I mean sure, theres the new one but it isnt the same. Ive found ONE in a lot on ebay. Im looking at spending at least 31 bucks for the one doll. What prices did you guys pay?(for those that hav an original)

Great job on the Ken doll! He looks great!

I agree, I’d wait on the Mr. and Mrs. P dolls. See how the new ones look in the fall before you go modifying a regular Mr. and Mrs. P body.

The only two places that I have gone for TS3 toys are Target and Toys R Us, both have the Barbie and Ken two pack.

But the TSC Mr. P is cool in its own right.

I just hope they dont just do up the pieces, and put them on the regular bodies, rather than using the accurate pixar data ones.

TSC Mr. P is pretty cool but I’m not really interested in the voice box and all the screws on the back.

I hope so too for the regular ones, I didn’t even think about that. If that is the case, I’ll just get the TSC version.

Thing is i wanna have the toys like they were in the movies. Mr. and Mrs. P werent electronics so i wanna have them just as what they are just toys no electronics

are the normal bodies inaccurate? I always thought it was the pieces that were off?

Yeah the bodies are off, especially around the mouth area.

can some one please tell me which non TSC Lotso is film accurate also? I want one with out te electronics.

Also I bought Rock Em Sock Em Robots the other day for my collection but i need to paint the Blue robot can someon tell me which pant i can use for this?

I don’t mind electronics as long as they don’t affect the look. However, I think Mr.Potato Head was affected the worse from them. the back of his body shows screws, a speaker, a battery compartment, and a button. And it makes the holes looks odd, and the electronics are most likely the reason for the shoes not being removable. The electronics also make it heavy, which can break the pieces (It was mention earlier in the thread that when his potato head fell over, it broke the arm peg) so doing things like even making it fall over is a no, which kills it play wise.

Now the toys like Rex and Woody weren’t affected at all (as far as I can see) by the electronics. Sure it affects the price, but looking like the film counter part is the most important part to me. I’m not getting my hopes up for the Potato Head coming out in the fall, there were negative sides to the TSC line yet they were called “exactly like the movie”. But it would be nice if what they say is true, of it being accurate from hat to shoes

Hasbro is making Film accurate Mr. nad Mrs. ??? Link??? Sorry if the link has already been posted I can’t find it
