I went to Universal Studios in Hollywood…I ran into a store in the city walk full of Toy Story merchandise it was like heaven…They even had the Merchandise from toy story 1…To bad everything was over priced half of the stuff I could find at Target or Wal Mart for 5 to 15 dollars They were selling a slinky dog for 48 dollars and barbie and ken $49.99
Got Kelloggs Hamm in the mail a couple days ago. Like everyone said, he’s a little off-scale, but it’s not that noticeable. The paint is great as well. The only thing I would’ve liked was a real cork, as opposed to the twist-and-lock faux cork. Overall, it’s worth the cereal.
Hey Guys,
Look what I managed to snag at my local Flea Market for only $5!
Aw yeah, a real vintage Chatter Telephone! Apart from some minor tears in the rotary sticker, he’s in really good condition, comes from 1961, complete with the correct wheels and wooden base!
For some reason, the string has a kind of weird stretch elastic inside. I might remove it later, but I couldn’t care less about that. He was a real bargain for me!
Just everything about this toy is awesome! And I’m sorry, but I couldn’t resist taking this picture: You and your friends ain’t ever getting out of here now!
You did that a lot better than I did when I bought my Chatter Telephone.
I was still figuring out my camera at the time and couldn’t get it to take a picture, so I had to use it’s video recording feature and take a picture off of that, which as you can see came out really bad.
I have no Idea…But City walk is not just Universal studio company they have hello kitty, game stop,a toy store where they had toy story stuff…and a Retro Toy Store…
Awesome!
The wooden base one is super accurate. I am after one too, I hope I luck out as well. Your phone looks to be in pretty good condition too. And that shot with Woody looks awesome, they both look really accurate. I’m glad they had more “found characters” playing a larger role in 3.
Wow. That chatter phone looks in excellent condition. I was hoping to find a wooden base version myself but no luck. I will just stick with what I have. Really nice find at a good price.
What? You mean peas in a bod weren’t a pixar original design? the last time I came to that conclusion it turned out to be a cruel prank disguised as viral marketing…
There was some talk on another thread about this fella
My best guess is that he is Wheezy size. I put him at 6 inches. You have to remember he is a full working torch designed to either be placed as a reading light or hand held.
