I heard there was a certain kind of Etch A Sketch used in the movie. Anyone know the difference? I’d assume it had something to do with the text on the back.

That looks so great Kyle! I have to comment, I think his pupils do look a tad small. He looks very dazed. But maybe that is just me! (Just came home from Life Drawing so I might be seeing things. Right now, his ears look really big to me but I know that it is the right size. LOL)

I agree about the pupils. They are definitely smaller than the stock eyes’ pupils, which seem to be the right size.

Does anyone think we’ll see Hasbro’s supposedly “screen-accurate” Mr and Mrs Potato Head figures at SDCC?

I’m hoping they’ll be ready to be shown or that Hasbro will at least confirm when we’ll be seeing the figures on shelves (if at all).

I hope they will too. I still need to pick up the TSC Spud for Tyler’s eyes but If they actually make a classic Potato Head that looks like the TSC version i’d pick that up too. No hope for the eyes, though. I know it’s their trap to make collectors double-dip, but it’s so cool that they actually got Don Rickles’ voice for the toy.

With the popularity of Toy Story 3, you’d think that Hasbro would at least have Potato Head, but I have the strangest feeling that they want to use all their space for Marvel figures. That’s what they’ve mostly been showing off since they got the rights in 2008, so I wouldn’t get my hopes up quite yet. But i’d love for them to do it, though.

Just got back home from vacation
and this request got lost in the shuffle trying to read this site on my phone.

I have uploaded the file I made
it is far from perfect, but it works. I split it into two parts and printed them both on Legal sized paper. I had the print size in the file itself set to the same size as what was scanned
so it should print at the right size on its own
if it doesnt, all I can suggest is a little trial and error on it until it is the size you want.

I think the “screen acurate” potato heads that are comin out will just be a big dissapointment! but pray for separate shoes, no legs, and separate eyes, and maybe bendable arms!!

My guess is that the screen accurate spud-heads are just going to be the regular Potato Head Body, and probably the regular arms and shoes and hat and such, with new parts based on the TSC eyes, mustache, mouth, and whatever other parts don’t match any existing parts. That seems pretty likely to me.

However, I think that would make a decent toy, given that it would only cost as much as a regular old Mr. Potato Head and not $50 like the TSC version. I’d probably by one, even with the screwy looking eyes!

I got myself a toy story 3 slinky dog from the disney store last week, I have removed the string between the eyes, the string in the body that stops him being streched out, also the string in the tail, and i gave the back of the ears a dark paint wash as I didnt like them being bright white, my quest really is, has anyone got any ideas for what I could use to fill the hole between his eyes where the string was, he looks like hes been shot in the face lol, so yeah any ideas appreciated :smiley:

Has anyone ever drawn out the ABC Cowboy Poster in andy’s room above his bed?

I could use a picture of it if anyone has the time, I just don’t have any nice references. You’d have to pause the movie and such :open_mouth:
