^I agree. I would’ve loved to see Buzz’s karate-chop action used again. In fact, the only scene in all the movies when the karate-chop action is used (from my memory) is when Woody uses it to defend him and Buzz from the mutant toys.
Let’s lobby for karate chop action! Hey hey oh ho buzzs chopping action cannot ho into the annals of Pixar history and buzz features, so we need more of it today!
After many re-watchings of the short, it comes off as more “meh” to me. It still enjoyable yet I think that the concept of “play” seems different when compared to the first film.
It all comes down to the manufacturer. Both specials could have made toys for the new characters yet the manufacturer intends to produce products that will make money. That’s why Thinkway only produced figures for Buzz and Woody. It’s no use complaining about it now since toy companies don’t cater towards collectors/fans.
Well a toy like Transitron would diffenetly make money. I mean mechas are very cool toys. They made a vintage toy commercial of Transitron that had an actual toy in it. Why can’t the manufacturer use that prop to make replicas of it?
It seems like TRU likes to give us kitties. First they gave us the Pez Cat and now Angel Kitty. I actually don’t like pet cats but I will buy this when it comes out.
I honestly wish they included the “Elf-On-a-Shelf” character in the short, he looks pretty cool and would have at least added more to the Christmas theme for the special. I guess they couldn’t find a way to smoothly transition him into the short.
The real Elf on the shelf creeped me out a little as a kid. It was just so creepy how it stare at you, especially if you had to go to the bathroom . The original designs of the Battlesaurs kinda remind me of some of the alien creatures from Star Wars, too.
Dawww, she is so adorable, but sadly, im not going to buy her because im not collecting TS Replicas anymore, mostly because of the price of them in my country
