Before I see it, I want to know if this will ruin my theatre surprise experience.
I Think your safe! ![]()
Are there any big spoilers?
This trailer has been approved by the MAoF (Martin Association of Film). If you’ve read the synopsis of WALL-E and read JIm Hill’s spoilerific post from a long time ago, there’s nothing to worry about. Think about it, it’s a trailer from Pixar, why would they spoil anything, it’s just great visuals that make you ask for more, and keep you wonderig (unless you read Jim Hill’s post…)
So, there’s no spoilers?
Too late, I already saw it. Couldn’t resist.
Wow, that is super amazing! I’m almost crying! Okay, I’m not, but that was amazing! ![]()
It would have been neat to see them recreate, scene-for-scene, [spoil]Hello Dolly[/spoil] like Brad Bird did with Brain from Planet Arous (1957) in The Iron Giant.
Glad they got that video back up, EVE makes it totally worth it. Her first encounter with WALL*E surprised the crap out of me.
I’ve seen the trailer already and I seriously think that it’s the best one yet. I also like the fact that we get to see Eve for the first time (as we hadn’t seen actual footage of her prior to this) . The animation is fantastic, and, in my opinion, the trailer doesn’t reveal too much, which is good.
I really want to see this. And just as my broadband got capped to dial-up speed, too… ![]()
I beg to differ, the leaked promo showed some unfinished footage of EVE, and that would be the first time we see her.
Actually, this isn’t even a trailer.
I never saw that Featurette on worstpreviews before where Andrew Stanton describes the movie. It was neat to see what it looks like on the ship and that breakdown of EVE.
Also, if that’s the music from the movie, it’ll be awesome.
I’m really excited for this movie!
A113- What!? Of course it is a trailer. The title of it is WALL-E International Trailer after all.
And it’s preceded by the Disney-Pixar logos. Why would they make something like this and not release it as a trailer, A113? ![]()
This question is mainly directed at miafka, but somebody else may be able to help.
Is that score we heard towards the end, WALL•E score from the movie? Or is it from something else. It’s very John Williams/Star Wars-ish and seems to suit the scope of the movie.
that was absolutely adorable! I loved the part when
Eve comes out of the pod and flies gracefully in the sky, while Wall-E looks on with awe, and then she shoots at him. XD classic Pixar humour.
In reply to bawpcwpn,
I don’t think that music was from the Wall-E score that we’ve done so far. It’s been a few months now since those initial scoring days so I could be senile or mistaken, but I don’t remember playing it… it doesn’t ring a bell.
PS: I thought that short clip of the song (“At Last”) was a nice touch.
I loved that trailer!!!
It’s the best one yet!!! ![]()
Woooooweeeee! That rocked! ![]()
[spoil]When EVE shot at WALL•E, I thought of Colette stabbing Linguini’s sleeve. During each pair’s first encounter, the males were so beguiled by the females that their aggressive nature caught them off guard.[/spoil] ![]()
