I’m not personally bothered, but I know plenty of you guys will. I think we just need to accept this is the way the market is heading. the CD has fast become obsolete with digital distribution. It might take a while before we get loss less quality from this on a regular basis, but I think we’ll get there. probably not with TS3 though.
Hmm, kind of odd because Best Buy still has the CD up on their site. I’m guessing they decided to yank it later in the game. bestbuy.com/site/Toy+Story+3 … &lp=3&cp=1
This is disappointing, but I can deal with a digital download.
That’s irritating. I’m never gonna download it on the computer, so buying the CD form is really the only way I’d be willing to get the soundtrack. I’m not particularly a fan of buying soundtracks at all so it isn’t the end of the world, but I still wish there was the choice. It does seem to be the way things are going, though.
Lame. If just about everyone was excited after they were reverting back to CD, what inspired them to go back on that? Files and such can easily get lost, but a CD collection won’t.
Can I ask why? Simply burn it to a CD, or on your MP3 player if you have one after downloading, problem solved.
sure, your not getting a fancy case and everything you would from an official release, but it solves the problem of not being able to play it where you want to.
the only downside is the worse quality, but unless your ears are finely tuned, maybe wont notice a dfiference.
Kyle- I think I have OCD or something. I just like the whole buying a CD, with the case as you said, and putting it on my shelf…I know it’s silly. I’m not desperate to buy it anyway, as I said, but I figure that if I am going to spend the money I’d like it in a physical form.
I don’t know whether to lock this one up or the other thread…They’re obviously about the same thing but the other one has a poll. Kyle, do you mind if I lock this one up and post a link to the other one so we can continue discussion there?
