I may check out last nights episode of The Office after rethinking about it.
I did hate one thing. How Kenny had black hair. Really? They coulden’t find a guy with blonde hair, or at least give him a wig. I didn’t see Kenny there. I saw a guy in an orange parka.
That was another rough one. Robert and Nellie just continue to ruin this show. I know I am repeating myself with that, but that’s just my opinion. I like everybody being honest with Ryan, but Pam was just too over the top with that, and it was kind of off-putting. The return of “Angry Andy” didnt work too well. I dont agree with the decision that Robert had made, and I can`t believe how Nellie has that much power over him.
Has anyone ever seen The Riflemen? It’s a western from the 50s and 60s.
I see ads for it. It’s on MeTV.
The South Park episode was good.
It started out with Butter’s telling the boys there’s anew girl at the school. Her name is Nicole and it turns out she’s black. Cartman’s stereotype think that she and Token should be together. Token doesn’t really wanna though. He spy’s on her and some other girls at a sleep over. It turns out she likes Kyle instead, this angers Cartman. He then lies to her the next day and tells her he and Kyle are together. She understands and backs off. Kyle wants to ask her out. Later on Cartman locks her and Token up in the boys locker room. They have to spend the night with each other and get along. Cartman starts to talk to his “Cupid Me” Kyle want’s to know what she likes and finds out she likes basketball, so he decides to get tickets. Nicoles dad tells her that she doesn’t need to have a black boyfriend and can have a white one. She want’s to date Token though. He tells her a white one would be better. She then breaks up with Token. Cartman is sad about this and kills Cupid me in the progress. Cartman then see’s a commercial and tries to get them back together. He then brings Cupid Me back to life. He finds out that Kyle took her to a Nugget’s game. At the game, Stacy, a girl with halitosis tries to make a shot but misses. He gets to the court and gets on the big TV. He says people should date anyone they want no matter what they say. He tells Kyle he loves him and want to be with him forever. His angers Kyle as he leaves. Nicole and Token get back together. Cartman is then happy. Cupid Me then makes Stacy fall in love with Cartman as she chase’s him. The episode ends.
I like last years mid season final more, but this was good.
I’m glad the mid season of South Park ended with a great episode. The first few episodes were bad or alright. But the last few were absolutely hilarious, I can’t wait to see what Matt and Trey will do come Fall.
Oh, “The Office”… I don’t even know if I should continue watching you. That was the season finale? Really? ![]()
I think so. I’m more excited for the spinoff involving Rainn Wilson then a ninth season.
I was SO upset. When [spoil]Andy agreed to give Nellie a job.[/spoil]. Seriously, you should of seen the look on my face. She’s coming BACK for a 9th season? idk if I can watch it! She infuriates me to no end! Graghghghg!
At least Robert left so that’s good.
Yeah, but I’d trade for him to stay instead of Nellie anyday.
I know I hated Nellie at first, but she grew on me.
I wish I could say the same for me so I can fully enjoy the show again.
I wouldn’t really say she has grown on me but rather that she’s become slightly tolerable now that the writers are trying to imply something more with her character. I’m still waiting for her to leave… Andy’s one of the best characters on the show. He’s inconsistent at times, but he’s far more interesting than Jim, who has become too stable/settled down to really have any interesting story arc (especially when the cameras don’t go into the employees’ homes).
I was rather disappointed by the finale. So if this new Dwight spin-off happens next year, I assume Dwight will no longer be with Dunder Mifflin, and that will leave the show with yet another interesting character gone. I have no idea how they’re going to keep things interesting! Furthermore, one of the more interesting aspects of this season overall for me personally was Erin and her relationship with Andy, and now that they’ve become a couple, Erin’s faded back into the background, sadly.
^I defintely agree with everything you said. Except about Nellie. I dislike her even more.
Has anyone heard about this new show “United Stats of America”?
Looks kinda interesting.
Yes. I saw the second episode.
I’m glad the History Channel is airing something related to history. (I mean IRT? REALLY)
I really liked the data they presented in the episode. The one I saw was on population shifts, and examining inventions that changed where Americans lived. (Interstate Highway System, Cars, Air Conditioning, Elevators, Skyscrapers, Airplanes)
I liked the hosts, but I felt they made too many lame and s-ex jokes for one episode.
I saw a commercial for it that Americans used to be the tallest in the world but have since shrunk.
I’m also glad they are getting more History shows. Maybe they saw the South Park episode and relized the lack of it.
Yeah, I watched that episode last night. It was the tallest country on Earth until the 1950s, now it ranks 9th in height.
