Underrated animated characters?

Yes, Atlantis representation!! The whole cast is good, in my opinion.

Can video game characters count? Because that is still technically animation.

I need to rewatch Atlantis. I didn’t like it, but the last I saw it was like in middle school. My opinion and taste has changed since, so I want to give it another try!

Buzz&WoodyFan- That picture of Randy is hilarious! I love that episode! Randy’s one of my favorite SP characters. While he’s underrated in general, he’s defintely not to the South Park Fan World.

So I’d say my favorite underrated character from that show, except for Clyde who I mentioned earlier…might have to be Craig. His role in the Pandemic episodes were hilarious!

My favorite non-song part of the movie with David is the fire dance! I had the experience of seeing a real fire dancer, and wow, the way they animated David’s dance was very realistic! That, and, um, he looks good. If my mom asks, I did not say that.

I liked that too! I also liked the opening with the hula dancers. The animation was beautiful and realistic. And yes, he does look fine!

I think Gary Oak from Pokemon is underrated.

Also think Richard Morre from Case Closed is.

And Frollo from The Hunchback of Notre Dame

Hmmmm, I feel like there are a lot of “Daria” characters that I might call underrated. She has a cult fanbase, that’s for sure, but I personally don’t know anyone who’s a big “Daria” fan. And by that, I mean they’re not familiar with the show, because it’s too brilliant not to love!

Vinny from Atlantis (the animation of his sarcasm is subtle but brilliant)
Hogarth from The Iron Giant (Would Dean be too popular?)
Bonnie from TS3 (underrated in the sense that she’s one of Pixar’s greatest characters IMO)
Dr. Delbert Doppler
Lucifer
Meeko (again, animation is soooo great and hilarious)
Archimedes
Joanna from The Rescuers Down Under (JUST for the egg scene)
Lilo (extremely overshadowed by the more popular Stitch, but she’s a wonderfully animated, beautifully developed character—far different from the many cliches of past Disney heroines)
