Recently played Banjo-Kazooie again, on my old Nintendo 64. There are no words to explain how much I love this game.
Couldn’t keep it up for too long sadly since my television is old and terrible and I am in dire need of a new one but also lacking the money to actually purchase one. I also have a need for a new art tablet and a 3DS and yup, that’s a lot of money.
And today I finished Banjo-Tooie too! The first game will always be my favourite, but I spent most time playing the second game. It was awesome to pick it up again. Such a wonderful game!
Next up; Banjo-Kazooie Nuts ‘n’ Bolts, on the Xbox 360. I actually like that game despite its differences from the original games, pah!
Also, Viva Piñata Party Animals which I’m rather excited to play… but I really want to play it on a nice new TV as I’m still stuck with my old and cruddy one.
I just bought Banjo-Kazzoie Nuts and Bolts for 20 bucks on xBox 360! But I haven’t opened it up and played it yet. Need to find a few hours so I can sit down and savour it, but I remember playing the demo at a video store a few years ago back in its release and enjoying the introduction scene (it had a spoof of the collect-the-coins videogame cliche and I like how the Lord of Video Games has a screen of Pong for his head).
In case you haven’t heard, I’m massively excited for GTA V. Only one more week, already pre-ordered the Special Edition with the steelbook and map.
I have a gut feel it will be the Heat of videogames. If you haven’t seen the Al Pacino and Robert de Niro crime epic, do yourself a favour and go rent it. One of my favourite movies of all-time.
Yeah, that’s so totally Michael Mann.
^ You lookin’ forward to GTA V too? Did you pre-order? First-day purchase? Or wait for a price drop?
Heat is the only live-action film I have on Blu-ray at the moment. I plan to watch it again when I can find the time, it’s such a landmark film and critics keep comparing subsequent bank-heist movies to it (along with others like Dog Day Afternoon and Reservoir Dogs, both of which I haven’t seen yet).
Miami Vice was great too, but only visually. I plan to watch LA Takedown, which was Mann’s “test drive” of Heat.
I have pre-ordered it from Amazon, and am hoping it arrives on time. I’m getting the PS3 version, if you are as well maybe we get together on GTA Online some time.
As for Heat, I mainly gave it a look as Spirit recommended it a few times, and because of both Pacino and De Niro’s presence. I have to say it was worth it. I’d also recommend seeing Reservoir Dogs, which I also like.
I’ve been getting back into Conker again, though it’s not so much playing the games as watching the cutscenes of Conker’s Bad Fur Day on YouTube. It’s just so delightfully wrong. xD But the voice acting is amazing and the graphics are really impressive for that time as well. And Conker is adorable, okay. I love how expressive he is.
Nintendo’s E3 was amazing! I hate Robot Chicken but those segments were great, along with the Iwata vs Reggie video. Tons of great looking games that I want to get, mostly SSB4 and Zelda. I may get a Wii U for my birthday, and it seems like great timing too.
Yeah, I was really surprised by the content in the Digital Event and the Nintendo Treehouse Live Coverage of E3. The next Smash Bros. is going to be phenomenal, I tried it out on Saturday at my local Best Buy and was blown away.
Yes! I’ve finally gotten around to playing more iOS games sometime ago. So now it’s not just Angry Birds…but now I’m also playing Fruit Ninja, Plants vs. Zombies, and quite a few other iOS platform-type games as well. (And um, the kids my mom worked with last school year were somehow, for whatever reason, kept talking about some game called “MineCraft”…)
But yeah, what can I say it’s all thanks to the discovery features of the App Store on my iPad 2 (which I happen to be on right now)?
I’m really forward to a lot of games. These are the games I’m looking forward to: Destiny
Super Smash Bros for 3DS
Alien Isolation
Assassin’s Creed Unity
Call of Duty Advanced Warfare
Far Cry 4
Grand Theft Auto V PS4 Remastering
Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix
Battlefield Hardline
Mortal Kombat X
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End
Star Wars Battlefront
