WALL-E Revealed!

I know this

will be another 3 pointer for PIXAR, but I guess I’m not as excited about it as remember being for Cars. As the

time gets closer, I’m sure my anticipation will build. Of course, I’m one of the people who thought Cars was

great, so I guess I might be in the minority.

And yes, remote control all the way! I was already thinking

about that.

Lightning95 - Ahh…I see. Yes, I was quite “hyped up” about

Cars, as well. I guess I’m just even more excited about

Ratatouille because I’m a huge rat lover. But…to each his own.

I hope

they have WALL-E keychains, as well. I’d buy those in a split second.

What can I say, I’m a junkie when it comes to movie

merchandise.

Haha –

as am I! I can’t resist buying anything and everthing that has to do with a film I really love: t-shirts,

keychains, pens, pencils, bookmarks, anything.

The only items I hate are plushies. Can’t stand the

things. :stuck_out_tongue:

Agreed. I

feel like I might as well write a check to the studios sometimes.

I think i will wait until I see how

this movie impacts me. If it does, I will get some Wall-E merchandise. But I need to wait.

I have at least one plushie from each Pixar film…

Lightning95 - Haha – I’m sure they’d appreciate more money. :stuck_out_tongue:

(snigger)

The Star Swordsman - Yeah – smart move. I’m sure the film will

turn out great, but it is wise to see whether or not you enjoy the film before buying any merchandise that

relates to it.

BandGeek727 - Well, good for you. (heheh)

Whenever I hear the word ‘plushie’, I think of toys made out of that incredibly soft,

towel-like material, instead of just normal soft toys. Therefore, whenever I see a picture of a ‘plushie’, I’m

always disappointed.

well, plushies aside, I think that WALL*E loooks alot

like a robot that you can make with LEGO Mindstorms. Similar in color too. And from what I’m reading in

Popular Science about personal mini robots and stuff (mainly for toys), by 2008,

maybe we could get a WALL*E interactive robot thing going on. Almost like a “Furreal friend”…

Do you

think there will be a remote controled Wall-E toy? Or maybe Wall-e Assemble-yourself-kit.

Something

like that. lol. “WALL*E: Transformers”

AJD08 - Haha – that would

be cool. Perhaps they will have something like a “Techno-type” WALL-E, where you could give it commands

and train it to do things? Sort of like an R2 unit… (snigger)

If it

is gonna be a Wall-E transformers, I would definetely watch it because of all of the action.

I don’t really know what

to think of the whole “no dialoug” thing, I mean, part of Pixar’s wit is in the dialouge…

(or however you spell it.)

*Ponders

number of silent Pixar shorts and how fantastic they were, even though no one spoke*…

*Returns to

lurking*

The reason Meg why those dialouge less shorts were good was because they were Shorts, not a

full length animated feature.

Whether or not Pixar will create a dialogue

free full length movie. It will be very hard. If I remember correctly, the last one to do this was

Spirit: The Stallion of Camarron (I think that was what it was called) and it did

not do to well at the box office.

Hmmm… on the other hand Pixar, with more and more computer animated

films coming out each year, may have to try something new.

Pixar is doing so incredibly well. Producing a film with no dialogue would be taking a

giant risk. They’d really have to wow us

then.

~~=oP

No dialogue is an incredible huge risk. O.O But it would be interesting. Knowing Pixar,

they’d make it fabulous.
