Hey
JV, do mind posting all of those pics, pretty please!
My version of Acrobat
isn’t working.
You don’t have to post 'em here, just in their respective movie forums.
Actually, that picture that JV already posted is the only real new “picture” from Pixar. The other
pictures are just high-resolution logos for Ratatouille, Wall-E, and Toy Story 3.
It certainly does sound interesting as well as being a departure from what they’ve
done. But I too have a little problem first with there being a live actor in the movie. I dont know why really. I
would just rather have him voice a character. I also have a little problem with so much of it being basically
silent. I mean, one of the things I love about Pixar is their amazing use of dialogue. But i’m not totally
shooting it down or anything. I do like most of the concept of it, from what i’m hearing.
I never really understood this:
What does it mean
that there will be a live actor? Will Fred Willis play himself, in animated form? It almost seems like there will
be actual live action blended with animation. Either way, I agree
lemonluvr9, it makes me uncomfortable.

Well, I dunno about you guys, but I really seem to favor the idea. It’s
Roger Rabbit all over again, which is just what I like…to say the least. There is
a reason why WALL-E is rumored to be one of Pixar’s biggest break-throughs in the
history of the said company – it contains tons of things that the studio has never accessed before…until now.
The silent aura of the film; the plot; the characters themselves; and the rumored appearance of a live
actor appearing in the production all add to the unique flavor of WALL-E. The very
fact that these changes will take place in the final feature just make me even more excited.
The “Live Actor” thing is just the Hello Dolly stock footage though,
right?
Dang, WALL-E Looks so adorable. I just wanna hug him.
^^
Pixel Candy - Not to read to much into this, but hugging
a robot would’nt be too comfortable…However, I see your point!

picture of
WALL-E
Ahh…so that’s part of his body. I see. I also
notice the logo of WALL-E on his front. Interesting…
Thank you for the
picture, JV! ![]()
Wow, his eyes…They look like they’re real camera lenses or something…
Wow, making him even bigger makes him look cuter too.
Thanks for the pic JV.
IMDb, and
Jim Hill both say
that Fred Willard will be in the film as President of the
Buynlarge Corporation. Do you guys think this is true? I think we have talked about this before but I’m not
sure. ![]()

From what I’ve seen, Wikipedia used IMDb as a source (which most likely
means that it will be taken out of Wikipedia, since IMDb is not an official source of film information), and I am
willing to bet that IMDb used Jim Hill as the source (considering that IMDb can be edited by all sorts of people
who have no affiliation with the movie industry whatsoever). Although not official, Jim Hill Media is a pretty
reliable source, so for now, I am under the belief that the info is true.
Really, you gotta look at why
it wouldn’t be…so what CountSolo said is pretty true.
Well, I don’t trust wiki, but the other sources seem reliable. I wonder what
character the President of the Buynlarge Corporation is. I think he will be a funny character because Fred
Willard is a funny actor. I just checked out his article on Wikipedia.
WALL- E is in the Layout and Animation stages right now.
Really? Are you sure? I thought they would be through
with parts of the animation by now.
