WALL-E Teaser Trailer!

What? I have to wait a YEAR for Wall*E?!?!?!

Apperently

TheIncredible. But I think it is okay. They always show what their next movie is almost always a year in advance

in teaser trailer form.

Okay, that is just too cool! :stuck_out_tongue:

I absolutely

loved it! Heh, the graphics representing the different movies (ABL, MI, FN) were

just amazing! Very, very, very very neat! :sunglasses:

Oh, and welcome to PP,

spikeshinizle. You’ll have a great time here…

spikeshinizle - Heheh – welcome to Pixar Planet! I trust you’ll find your stay comfortable.

Something about space just captures me. WALL-E will be no exception…

-just watched the Wall-E teaser trailer-

Ho.

Ly.

Chrysler.

:open_mouth:

-instant Wall-E fangirl- :smiley::D:D!!!

Do you guys notice that the cubes of trash in the teaser are the same cubes of trash used in Monsters Inc.?

JV - Haha! Yeah, I noticed that, as well. Pixar often reuses set props and items from their previous films. It reduces the work load. It sure doesn’t make WALL-E’s job any easier , though.

I’m wondering if it was the WALL*E robot that says the title at the end. If so, perhaps we’ll actually have the robots speaking, rather than beeping like Jim Hill Media said.

Ryan - Welp, it sure sounds that way. Judging by the fact that the voice of the robot who spoke the title also sounds like WALL-E himself when he “mumbled” as he packed himself with garbage, I’d say that WALL-E can speak to a certain extent. Perhaps he learns from another ressource how to “speak”? Or maybe he just does it on his own? We’ll have to wait and see.

I would still love for this film to be mostly silent, though. I’m probably one of the few – heheh.

Whoa Candy. That was fast. That adds another obsession to your list right?

Well here’s hoping that one cube has a desk lamp with an pupil drawn on it hanging out. That would be completely cool. A really cool geek moment in this movie would be WALL-E watching Star Wars. There has got to be a Johnny 5/Artoo/C3PO reference in this film. I love the Shining reference in Nemo.

Ah, I didn’t notice that until now. It is so cool how put that reference in. Thanks JV. I probably won’t have figured that out at all.

Yeah, that would be awesome! I would probably geek out if they did something like that… :stuck_out_tongue:

Know nothing about star wars but seems that we’ll

see :

[spoil]a mixed live action-CGI sequence based on Hello Dolly with Barbra singing an aptly

renamed tune Hello Wall*e [/spoil]

I’m not 100% sure about it , but my informer is an insider

of the video game industry.Anyway I’m a Barbra’s fan so I like the idea.

saluti dall’Italia ;-o

Wow, JV. Your right, those are the

same cubes! :open_mouth:

I came to realize that but I didn’t bring it up!

That’s a really uncanny resemblence right there, heheh.

Definitely! I’m already

figuring out how to draw him, and I was even a total dork and wrote a very small three-paragraph story describing

Wall-E’s lonely life… I might put it up if you guys want to read it…

About Wall-E possibly being the

one speaking his name at the end - yes, I do think it was Wall-E himself saying it, judging by the robotic tone

which is also similar to the vocal chords in the sounds he was making when spitting out that garbage cube.

However, for some reason I reckon the only word in the English language he’s familar with is his own name,

“Wall-E” - it sounds like he was slowly sounding it out, possibly for the first time. And he could

probably pick up on more familiar words throughout the film. It’s like Stitch in Lilo and Stitch. Just a

geeky theory, though!

Candy - I think it’s a great theory! I thought the same thing myself actually, so

we’re in the same boat.

Candy: I guess we won’t know until we look

deeper in to the film. I like the theory though. I would’ve never thought of something like that.

I guess

Pixar decided to incorporate a more emotional tone in the WALL-E teaser trailer - a

break in tradition, but definitely effective.

The teaser also doesn’t reveal much, which gave it that

somewhat enigmatic feel to it.
