WALL-E Teaser Trailer!

Wow,

you are right about that. Up until now, most Pixar trailers have been funny.

There

is a new WALL-E teaser trailer on the Ratatouille Video Game!!!

Really?!? that’s cool!!!

Great! I wonder if the trailer is in every possible version(i.e. except

Ds and GBA and mobile).
;-o ;-o

Thanks JV. Watched the video

on your site. looks good!

No prob!

Did anyone else notice the “disclaimer” at the end, where it mentioned

BuyNLarge.com? I checked to see if this really existed, and apparently Disney has acquired the domain for future

use.

I saw the new trailer on both Upcoming Pixar and your

blog, JV. It looks awesome! Thanks for the information.

I love the look

and feel of this “updated” trailer. It’s very sophisticated and clever; almost reminds me of the

original Space Mountain in Disneyland…when they used to have these miniature tv

monitors that showed space-themed commercials.

I didn’t like this trailer. That can’t be one for the

movie because it seemed like a video game trailer to me what with the graphics and all.

Bill - WALL-E did look more like a video game

charecter then a CGI charecter.

oh no! I CAN’T SEE IT ON YOUTUBE NOW, THEY DELETE IT!
HOW CAN I SEE IT ???

No need to fear JV is here.

There you

go.

I think they have it on yahoo movies now. If not, you can always check the WALLE website.

Cool, now we know what WALL-E stands for!

Yeah, I didn’t like this trailer as much either. It wasn’t as poignant as the Teaser. That teaser was beautiful. It’s so different from all of the past Pixar teasers (the closest one I can compare it to is the ABL teaser, and even that one ended with humor). Pixar seems to be branching off in a different direction than they have in the past; and they seem to be targeting an older audience with the new film. (Even Ratatouille wasn’t as much of a kid’s movie, as, say, MI and TI.)

I was surprised at how they handled the teaser, with Stanton’s introduction. Hehheh, my sister thought he was animated at first… she laughed and told me she was about to say “Ooh, look how real he looks…” I love how they did they 2-D graphics. That was so cool.

So, this was one of Joe Ranft’s ideas? I bet he’s proud, it finally being produced.

Mitch, isn’t the Pixar in a nutshell?

I absolutely loved the tagline. “After 700 years of doing what he was built for, he’ll discover what he was meant for…” Brilliant, Pixar. Brilliant.

Those eyes just make me melt. When he looked off into space, it was like Puss-in-Boots from Shrek 2; I just want to hug him and take him home with me! <3

I just love WALL-E! I’m looking forward to the film, but I’m being careful now to avoid spoilers just so my mind’s a clean slate when I go see it. Not that Ratatouille was ruined for me- it wasn’t, I’d just like to be surprised and not know much except a short summary.

it makes me wonder. it says he will discover what he was meant fore. Now i ask you guys. What do you think WALL-E was meant for?

Your guess is as good as mine now, TSS . That could lead to some fantastic disscussion. Heck, we could even start a whole thread based on that.

Here’s a good quality version of the 2nd teaser: youtube.com/watch?v=3CEIBZ2DAg4

Hmm, good question. Love? Isn’t this supposed to be a love story?
I’d just like to see him find a bigger purpose than just a trash compactor…

It certainly was a different trailer, to say the least. I was expecting there to be some humor in it too. Plus, I dont know. It seemed different also than just a regular trailer in that it had words that told you about the plot? sort of. It’s hard for me to explain. The past teasers gave me a little sense of the plot yet didnt tell me what was really gonna happen. Just gives you a taste, you know? In this one the trailer says, this robot’s going to discover his purpose, or whatever. yeah, if anyone understands what I just said and can put it into better words, let me know!
