Wall Of Prayer

I’ll be praying that your 500 bucks pops up for ya in the form of anything God has in mind.

That reminds me of a story…

(gotta eat din-din so i’ll come back and post it seperately (it might be long))

JesusFreak: Hang in there! God will provide a way…it’ll just be up to you to recognize the oppurtunity and seize the moment!

Everyone, I’ve got a new prayer request. This might not sound worthy for a prayer, and not that much of a big deal, but it is to me.
It’s about me making music videos…see, my computer’s still trying to settle down from being cleared for a virus, it seems like. I’ve successfully saved my video files, but they just won’t show up. And if that’s not enough, I have to re-download a DVD ripper again, but the computer just won’t take any downloads now.
The reason why I’m in a panic is because I only have a few more days with this certain movie before I have to return it, and I want to use this limited time to turn it to an MV.
The problem is without a DVD ripper downloaded, it can’t be done.
:shake:

So…yeah, I probably sound weird to ask for a prayer about this, and maybe this can’t really be taken seriously, but it matters quite a lot to me. I know it’s not as imporant as others’ situations before me, but it would still mean a lot to me if it came out alright. Please pray for me, so that God may grant me the chance to do this.

JesusFreak - That’s real lucky of you not to get swindled by the first guy… well, I wish you the best of luck in getting that $500!

BDD - I pray you get your music video done in time before you return the DVD… I’m interested to see what movie you’ve chosen to be featured!

First of all, I pray for the second kid to commit suicide at my school this year, a senior girl this time. A senior! Your almost done, why take your life now? R.I.P

Second, there was a big car crash outside my church today. On car involved (there was about three) was a family from our church, and their car flipped over TWICE. They should be okay, though. My mom and I were walking to the church for the next service. There was a sound that sounded like if someone smash hundreds of soda cans at once, and we ran to the side of the road. She called 911 and the firetrucks showed up, but we had to get to church. We prayed for them. All in all, it made the sermon give a bigger impact. It was about how life is short, so do what you can for the world now. (The priest who gave it just lost her mother, too.)

Wow…it just seems to be death city over there. I pray that your city sees how special life is and attempts to instill a sense of joy in life. I pray for the second suicide family. The school is going to have some trouble…it must be hard to go through that.

I pray that you may feel peace as you go through these hardships Rac_Rules…being young makes these occurances really detremental to your life. Please be careful…

Rac_Rules: Not another one! I wonder why she decided to end her life…the first guy did it because of bullies, but what about this senior? R.I.P.
I shall also pray for the families involved in the car crash. Those two situations must have been freaky!

BDD: I’m not exactly sure, but I think it was a similar reason. My sister (a senior, too) said she was one of those quiet girls who sat in the back of the class and never spoke. She also said she thinks that when one kid does it, another with problems starts considering it, so that might push them over the edge. Warning to those who are thinking about it: You might indirectly end a life.

You know what sucks? Both of these kids were extremely smart. What annoys me are the dumb but popular kids who think they are God’s gift to the world. I kinda just want to grab them and yell “YOU AREN’T GOING ANYWHERE IN LIFE, SO SHUT UP!” I know, I know, it’s mean… but these are the kids who make the people who ARE going somewhere in life feel like dirt. I am so glad the kid I used to make fun of (It wasn’t really making fun of, really, because I was just very temperamental as a child so I got mad at him a lot and fought, even so I’ve long stopped) seems to know he’s a genius and has a per-eeeety big ego XD. I’m just glad to know nothing I’ve said to him have made him want to do something drastic. Sorry, Riley, I know you’re the Bill Gates of the future.

Just a little update…

I did my taxes today, and I should be getting almost $700 back within a few weeks! So I’ll be able to fix my car, and have some money left over. Thanks for the prayers…They helped!

Yes…i’m so happy for you. That’s actually quite a coincidence…

I’d like to pray for my mom who is currently in the hospital with some kind of stomach virus. She’s in a lot of pain. I’m two and half hours away at school right now and I wish I could be there for her. :frowning:

JesusFreak: That’s good to hear. Glad it didn’t get worse and everything turned out fine.

Rac_Rules: I know exactly what you mean! A lot of kids who consider doing nothing productive “cool” make fun of the people who actually are working hard toward an actual goal and call them names, dragging them down. Then there’s other people. The “invisible” people, who feel like they want to do something, but are held back by their schoolmates’ bullying. It sucks. :frowning:

Hannahmation: I’ll not only pray for you, but I’ll let my church know so they can pray along with us, is that okay? Hang in there…both you and your mom. Hope she feels better soon.

Thanks BDD! I’d appreciate that.

I’ll be praying for you as well Hannahmation.
Do they know what kind of virus it is?

I pray for those who were affected by a tragic accident…I heard/read that a plane with 48 passengers crashed into someone’s home in N.Y. :open_mouth: Everyone in the plane died and at least one person on the ground also died. :frowning:

Al-Bob: I don’t remember what my mom said it was. It was some weird name. At this point, no surgery is needed, but she has to stay in the hospital for 3-4 days.

I too pray for those who were affected by the tragic plane crash.

Amen to the prayer for the commercial jet that crashed. I heard that one of the people on board was a 9/11 Widow…that has to be a sad day near New York…

I know… especially right after the miracle on the Hudson; where everyone survived. :frowning:

I woke up this morning to see reports of that crash on Fox News. Last I checked, the death toll was 50. I pray God’s peace is with the families of those lost on board the plane. I couldn’t even imagine the pain they must be going through right now…

little chef

Phew Ok, this is a bit of a long story.

In my neighborhood, (Though my neighborhood is split into two separate parts, with only the road and small path through the woods between them, and this happened on the other side away from mine) a wife and husband were shot, by each other. Meaning, either the man shot her and then shot himself or vise versa. My friends and I think it was the man, since he is still alive and in the hospital with only one shot in him and the woman had multiple bullet wounds. They are also the parents of a girl who used to be in my mom’s GS troop. Personally I’m not scared or anything since because it was a domestic violence case and it can happen to anyone, it’s not like there’s a killer lose in the neighborhood. Still, it happened quite near a bunch of my friends and they said they where super scared when all the news media and ambulances showed up.

I pray that the remaining members of the family can stick through this and still live a happy life.

It has come to my notice that many of these stories are beginning to appear randomly around the United States. Due to the economic collapse many men have started to contemplate death as a better option. I heard of an Arizona dad who killed his wife and four children because of financial problems. A aviator tried to do a trick suicide to try and get rid of his debt.

I pray for the people who are suffering from this hard time of struggle.

I’m trying to figure out what to do…Glenn Beck has been really getting into this time with enthusiasm i’ll see what he says and compare it with my ideas. I’ll try to get back with some sort of picture to paint. This time is not good for the faint of heart and that is all that the world is left with after two world wars. May the People of the world be strong and learn!

I pray for the broken hearted and the lonely and the fatigued. They are the ones who were guaranteed voices by our political leaders but none has come yet. May they see what lies in the future and act accordingly. May we here in the US and in Other nations live like there is no tomorrow and that our neighbors and fellow humans are the key to survival. Please help someone today…it may change their world. Praise God we can live in such a beautiful place as this…Amen.
