Watching Pixar Movies online

ok you all passed the legal or not game  so i took this part off

But is it in the camera form? Honestly I dont like people who use the camera method in movie theaters.
First off, illegal and really bad consequences if you get caught.
Second off, the quality blows! Lol. I personally like HD and nice picture.

I will take a peak to those two sites though.

Interesting, but way, WAAAAAY illegal.

It’s funny–for all the whining people do about Google’s copyright infringement on YouTube, they completely overlook Google Video, which literally has hundreds of FULL MOVIES and documentaries that anyone can view for free.

yay im bringing up this topic to discuss just that its illegal

Youtube is Google’s way of making everyone pay attention to it, while Google Video get all the heat taken away…but dont tell anyone SHHHH!

Yet, Google Videos removed the WALL-E game mini-movie I posted, but keep the full, pirated movie. Yeah, that makes sense. >.>

Lol. Life will never make sense…just hopefully the RIAA doesnt track people from there…

Yes, it’s obviously illegal, and the video quality is horrible anyways. Which may not mean much when watching a drama, but Pixar, yes.

Someone else sees my point.
Wall-E and any other Pixar is some of the best CGI we have seen.
We should give ourselves the pleasure of seeing it in all its beautiful color

Watching it online is definetely illegal. If you want to watch it, buy a ticket and see it, or wait for the DVD. If not, make a couple bucks for yourself then do it. BUt pirating a movie is cheating the employees at Pixar out of their money.

I agree. Wall-E should be watched the way it was intended. Good things comes to thoes who wait, and watching in camera form really just kills it.

Watching movies illegally online really bugs me. For one thing, as everyone has stated here, the quality is non-existant. I also use a PC so the backache becomes incredible from hunching over my screen to see the minescule picture (because full-framing just makes the already blurry picture more blurry).

But my biggest problem with pirating films or watching pirated films is that it is stealing. It’s illegal. But more inportantly, it’s stealing ART. It’s stealing something that countless people put an enourmous amount of effort into and I guess being an aspiring film artist, I’m insulted FOR the people who made the film when I see people pirating movies.

I always yell at my friends when they tell me “Oh, yeah, I just saw that online!” ):

yet it somehow makes me wonder why the watch-movies.net has at the bottom its legal hmm…

It isn’t legal, they are just trying to get others to do it, telling them it is legal.

This is true. I would claim that the need for downloading Wall-E is definitely not needed in the grand scheme compared to being able to go see it in theaters.
On top of other things…

yeah but with the high prices of things today you never know what people will do to see a movie

The site itself is technically legal since it only links to other websites and doesn’t store the content on the website itself. However, the act of watching it on your part is still stealing the movies. And even then, websites are still getting sued for even linking to them (it’s a big issue).

And if you want to know why watch movies stressing its so called “legality”, just look around the page. Ads everywhere. Of course they want you to feel like it’s legal, so you’ll go on their website more which means they’ll make more $$$ through ads.

I couldnt agree more. There is much more to it than just watching a video online

Piracy’s everywhere. Even going to YouTube and watching a copyrighted video that’s uploaded by someone is pirated. It’ll never be phased out because it’s too difficult to track down everyone and every source. It’s too rampant.

What’s an even bigger letdown is that movies are still pirated long after they hit DVD. I’ll bet all the other eight Pixar masterpieces are available as DVD rips from people to download. That’s where it’s just downright lazy and stupid. It’s also sad because people will opt for it because it offers almost the same DVD quality, and it’s free. I’m buying my WALL-E DVD ASAP and then rewatching it over and over the proper way.

I’ll totally agree to that Ryan…100% totally agree
