What are you planing on seeing this year?

This topic is at

the Animated News forums and thought I?d put the same topic here.

What are you planing on seeing this

year? I’m planing on seeing:

Meet The Robinsons
Spider Man 3
Surf’s Up
Ratatouille (at least

4 times)
National Treasure 2

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
Pirates

of the Carribbean 3
Ratatouille

I’m sure there’s more but I can’t think of them at the

moment…

Oh yeah, I remember this thread on Animated

News. Thanks for starting it here, JV.

Lets see. Well, the first one is pretty

obvious…

Ratatouille - 12-14 times
Spider Man

3 - 2-3 times
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix - 2-4

times
Shrek the Third - 1-2 times
Meet the

Robinsons - 1-2 times
Surf’s Up - 2-4

times

Spider Man 3, baby! I can’t wait for that. I’m also a big

Harry Potter fan/nut, so I shouldn’t miss that, either. As for

Ratatouille, well…everybody knows how much I want to see that film.

Hmm…I’ll probably see any Steve film, as well as

whatever takes my fancy at the time. I’m definitely seeing Ratatouille, of course, but apart from that, I really

don’t know. There’s a new film coming out with Paul Giamatti, who I adore, so I’ll see that…shrugs I guess

I’ll just have to wait and see!

lizardgirl - Are you talking about that Santa Clause film that Paul Giamatti will

be in? 'Cause I was cracking up when I saw the trailer for it in the theater.

No, it’s one set a while back,

about an entertainer who does magic tricks, but then gets in trouble for trying to assasinate someone or

something…It looks very serious, but very interesting.

Well, I plan to see Ratatouille, Pirates, Fantastic 4, Spider Man, Harry

Potter, National Treasure 2, and Shrek 3.

Here’s my list of must-see movies that I posted over at

Animated-News:

Ratatouille (and

Lifted)
Meet The Robinsons
Harry Potter and the Order Of The

Phoenix
Pirates Of The Caribbean 3
Epic Movie
Arthur And The Invisibles
The Simpsons Movie
Bee

Movie
Happily N’Ever After
Spider Man 3

~~=oP

lizardgirl - Ahh…I see. Hmm – sounds interesting.

PixarVixen - Oh yeah, I forgot about Epic

Movie. I also plan on seeing that, depending on whether the rating for the film is below ‘R’. It

looks hilarious.

I am reluctant to see Epic Movie. It looks like a rip off from each movie, and it disgust me,

personally.

The Star Swordsman - Yeah,

understandable. My mom would most likely agree with you. Me? I absolutely love hilarious stuff like that – the

sillier the better. I’m not really sure why I am drawn to those kinds of films, but I think it’s a trait. Heh.

Doesn’t mean you have to watch it, though. You’ve got rights. (snigger)

I am not really intrested in watching Surf’s Up also. I

am not really into surf movies and movies with penguins in it.

Ratatouille (impatiently

waiting for this movie since 2003)
Pirates of the Carribean 3
Shrek 3
The Simpsons Movie

I’ll

see many more films this year, but I’m sure I won’t miss these.

I know for a fact

it’s rated PG-13 because they play the trailer in the lobby at work every 2 minutes. :unamused:

And

TSS, Epic Movie is a

rip-off of other movies. Just as its predecessors from the Scary Movie series and

Date Movie, it gives us a break from our breaks from reality. Random silliness is a

good thing in small doses. :stuck_out_tongue:

~~=oP

PixarVixen - Well, I

guess that settles it then! Thanks for the information. (snigger)

And yes, I agree. Silliness is

required in everyday life. Laughter is like a delicious medicine: You can’t get enough of it and it keeps making

you feel good.

I

see. Even though I still prefer the original version, I still won’t bother with this movie.

Speaking of

which, how many movies does Epic Movie rip off from?

The Star Swordsman -

From what I saw, it rips off of:

Superman Returns
Legally

Blonde
Pirates of the

Caribbean
Borat

…and a few others.

If I am not mistaken, there is a Narnia and an X-Men rip

off.

From what I’ve seen so far…

Harry

Potter
X-Men
Pirates Of The Caribbean
Star Wars
Borat
Superman
Nacho Libre
Chronicles Of

Narnia
Snakes On A Plane
Charlie and The Chocolate Factory

…and Paris Hilton, not

Legally Blonde. :stuck_out_tongue:

~~=oP

PixarVixen - Oh yeah, I forgot about Harry Potter. I

don’t remember the Star Wars spoof, though. But now that you mentioned

Star Wars, I’m going to have to see it. (snigger)

Oh – is that who that

was? Heh – I could have sworn it was a rip-off of Legally Blonde. :stuck_out_tongue:
