What good things are happening in your life right now?

It is really nice outside today and should be the rest of the week. Ok, it is only in the 50’s, but after the Minnesota winter (we had snow last week), it is amazing weather! I can finally go on a bike ride! Down to the lakes I go!

I’m just finished passing some important tests at school today glad that’s finished. =) Except for that i can’t think of anything else, oh yeah i restarted working on Blender with the help of my books. I’m not planning on stopping !
I would really love to show you guys my drawings but i can’t manage to put it on my computer …

Despite the masses of revision for exams that are coming up that are probably the most important exams of my life so far, coupled with life feeling just a bit boring at the minute, I’m feeling happy. I’ve made my final arrangements for Thailand this November, plus I’ve been discussing going to Malta with my friends in the summer as a celebration of the end of our official school lives, and knowing that I’m going to France next week to partake in the strange combination of looking at soldiers’ graves and war memorials coupled with a few nights of heavy drinking and the inevitable hangovers is something that’s put me in a good mood. There’s nothing better than leaving home and going somewhere different, even if it’s just for a short amount of time.

That is beautifully said Lizardgirl ! Well i’ve been traveling since i was 1, and god i thank my parents for that ! I’ve been to Africa, America, of course France and not just to visit i’ve lived in those places ! :stuck_out_tongue:
I don’t know why i’m dying to go to Australia ! It seems just like a wonderful place with such likeable people ! Also love their accent ! I just know i’m gonna go there someday !

lizardgirl - Sounds like a very eventful time in your life. It’s nice that you’re making the most of it. May as well enjoy the Earth during the time you’re on it. I hope that you have a fun time during your excursions/trips!

I may get the chance to meet William Shatner on May 2nd. He’s going to be giving out free autographs (along with a free book of his) at a comic book store on that particular Saturday. It’s free comic book day that weekend! All the better. Goodness knows I need the latest editions of What’s Michael?

Very cool, Mitch, You should tell him how much better Star Wars is than Star Trek.

Kidding. I kid the Trekkies. ;-p

DocKenobi - Ha! Ouch! Although, I do agree with you; Star Wars kicks Star Trek’s butt. Still, I’m kind of a half-Trekkie, if that’s legitimate.

– Mitch

Thanks, Mitch!

Ooh, William Shatner! I’m not a Trekkie myself, but he is a very good actor indeed. Hope you enjoy meeting him!

lizardgirl - You’re welcome!

Thank you! I’m half a Trekkie, if that’s even legitimate, so I’m sure I’ll be geekin’ out along with my dad and sister if I do go. (snigger)

Good things? Herm…I’m going to some friend’s house tomorrow for lunch, and I’m pretty excited about that.

I got an email from my favorite teacher in the whole world today, and that was really nice.

One of the final three American Idol Finalists is coming to my old high school to perform. My sister has been invited to dance while he performs.

My high school baseball team is playing for the championship game tomorrow…hopefully we will repeat last years champion win and be #1 again!!!

I’m not 100% sure, but I thing I’m getting a laptop for my birthday. No longer will I have to post with my PSP!

Other then that, school’s almost over. 5 weeks till Summer!

Ummm, it’s my birthday today =]
My horse and I have improved so much since I first started riding her. I think we’ve got a really good bond already and that makes me so happy.

well… although my life is not the same i dreamed of (but i still have hope it will be). i can say one thing. i am experiencing the most happy and most important 8th month in my life :unamused:
one more month and i am going to be a father

That’s really cool that you have a good bond with your horse, Abbervail Dream. I don’t know much about horses, but I can imagine that to be a very good rider you need to be connected with your horse, as such, and it must be nice to be developing that connection.

Congratulations, Levan! You must be so excited! And welcome to the forums!

My family wants to celebrate mothers day tomorrow, so I’m going to a chocolate festival of some sort. I’m not sure wether to be excited for it or dreading it, but it beats school!

Congrats Levan! That’s huge! So are you having a son or daughter?

Well, I won $125 at work this week. I’m a cashier at Walmart, and if none of the products that go through my line set the door off, I get entered into a weekly drawing. I won that one, for $25, and then I won the monthly one for $100. Good timing, too. I need it. :stuck_out_tongue:

Glad to hear everyone is having some good stuff happen to them!

I have been having a good month so far. I got to help out with the Up Cluster Balloon event in Minneapolis and go up in the chair twice. So much fun! As a fun treat for our help, the volunteers got 3 DVDs and tickets to an advanced screening of Up courtesy of a local radio station. Fantastic movie! The cluster balloon event and the screening have helped get me through finals! Only two more days of school left and I am done for the summer!

Oh my Goodness! You have Up DVDs?!? I’m so Dang jealous!
