What was Rollie eating in the teaser trailer?

What was Rollie eating in the teaser trailer?

I always thought he was eating a moldy

breadcrumb. What do you guys think he was eating?

I think he is eating a vegetable that has been in the garbage too long.

Haha – my

sister and I had a lengthy discussion about this not a couple of months ago.

Personally, I think

that it’s a rotten lemon. We (my sister and I) have also speculated that it might

also be an eraser, but that’s highly unlikely. :stuck_out_tongue:

Well, after taking a long, hard look at it in Mitch’s sig… I don’t really know. :stuck_out_tongue: I think

Pixar just made something random that’s gooey- and squishy-looking. I might have a guess, but you don’t really

want to hear it… :unamused: But whatever it is, I actually think it might have some soggy, mashed-up lint mixed in

there somewhere or other.

Well, whatever it is, it looks disgusting. At the same time, he makes it sound edible. Hopefully, I can

“muscle my way past the gag reflexes”.

Yeah, I’ve wondered that for a while too. I’ve still got no idea…It

actually looks a bit like what has happened to some of our grafted cauliflowers at school.

Ha – I had the same suspicion. :stuck_out_tongue:

Trust me, it’s a rotten lemon. I think… (snigger)

lizardgirl -

Haha. What happened to your school cauliflowers? They disintegrated or something? :stuck_out_tongue:

Well…*deep

breath*

We had to do a biology experiment which basically consisted of getting a large piece of

cauliflower and creating new, baby cauliflowers by cutting a piece of the big cauliflower off, disinfecting it

entirely, dunking it in some growth fluid, and putting it in a test tube with some water and more of the growth

stuff.

Because of the fact that the cauliflower pieces had to be perfectly clean, most of them actually

died in the test tubes as we just didn’t disinfect everything well enough. Some survived, (like my own, which is

now flourishing and growing up to be a healthy cauliflower,) but most died and have been left to rot for,

oh…say about a month, now? They have turned every shade of green and brown imaginable, and look, as stated

previously, quite similar to what Rollie is eating.

lizardgirl - Haha – that’s hilarious!

Perhaps

you should post up a picture of one of the “rotten” cauliflowers, so that we can then compare it to

what “Rollie” is eating. Hey, who knows? Maybe he is munching on a dead cauliflower?

Lol, okay, my next biology lesson is Thursday, so

I’ll see if I can take a photo and upload it.

Wasn’t there some sting like substance in that thing? Or wasn’t it moving? I saw the teaser

and I thought I saw something move.

Thanks to TSS for this suggestion to post this Ratatouille poster I made a few days ago. It fits

in about what we are talking about ?What was Rollie eating?:

The

Star Swordsman - Well…I took a good, long look at the thing in the teaser trailer, and I

definitely didn’t see anything moving. Perhaps the watery reflections on the walls cast upon the morsel a kind

of “life-like” quality to it. Maybe it was a trick of the light?

JV - Cool! Your poster fits perfectly with this topic of discussion. Great

suggestion, The Star Swordsman.

Mitch: The more I watch the Ratatouille teaser trailer in HD I think it could very well be a

?Rotten Lemon?.

JV - But of course it is!

You see that little “stump” at the bottom of the morsel “Rollie” is holding? It sure looks

alot like the end tip of a lemon, doesn’t it? Badda-bing!

Mitch: Yes it

does.

Looks like an old Brussel Sprout to me.

And DElf! How dare you insinuate that Pixar di

something random! You know as well as I do it was with purpose and whoever animated that scene knows good and

well what it originally was! =P

Personally, I dont want to know what he was eating…

I don’t know what it is. Looks like a broken bottle of something to me, or it

could just be a regular old peice of garbdge.

Bill - Haha – but wouldn’t his mouth hurt after eating a broken piece of a

bottle? Although, rats will eat just about anything, so you could be right.

I still say it’s a rotten

lemon. It sure looks like one…
