I am going to watch a The Who concert with Milan.
Cool! I still need to watch them live at the Isle of Wight.
We’re cleaning the house, and we got a new bed.
All of a sudden I am now in love with The Who^^. Milan is happy. And I am going to listen to The Beatles and Led Zeppelin, and of course Pink Floyd^^.
I’m reading Celebration Day: The Led Zeppelin Encyclopedia.
I read some more of Flipped.
I finished watching a tennis match from a while back.
The biggest mosquito ever went into my room eariler. I’m not kidding. It’s like this thing came out of Jurassic Park or something.
I’m trying to get the chords right on Heartbreaker.
Hopefully it didn’t bite you.
I’ve been thinking about returning to Japan at some point, but I’m not sure when. My boyfriend also likes Japanese culture and has never left the country, so I think it would be nice if we went there for a couple weeks/month as a graduation present to ourselves. But the thing is, someday I’d like to see the cherry blossoms bloom in Japan. It has to be in Japan, too, because other countries have different architecture, and the Japanese-ness is part of the whole experience!
Well, anyway, the problem with the cherry blossoms is that they typically bloom in March and April, and I’m still in school then, and if I’m teaching full-time, I can’t just take vacation time for pure leisure. I found out the district/city I plan to teach in actually has spring break right when the blossoms bloom in Tokyo. I would have horrible jetlag, but it would so be worth it.
Argh, did it bite you? I hate those things. I also hate wasps.
I’ll read A Murder is Announced in a moment.
I need to write a little paper on the South Park episode from yesterday for my reading class.
Aw, sick!
Whoa, a paper about a TV episdoe for reading class? Well, it sounds cool since you’re doing South Park.
I’ll watch either South Park or Judge Judy soon.
So, there’s been a pretty ridiculous news story floating around campus (a legitimate one). A student who was very very recently elected President of our student government has been caught with a chicken inside city limits, which is apparently illegal and is actually called “chicken at large.” Anyway, he’s in jail because of this chicken situation. No, I’m not joking. This is almost as great as that one news story a couple years ago when a young moose walked onto campus and broke a laundry room window.
^Wow, that really is ridiculous! I knew there were some laws against chicken keeping but I didn’t realize they’d take it that far. I know someone in my neighborhood owns one…because it cuccoos at every 2AM.
That is extremely ridiculous.
I had a shower.
Chicken at large! I can’t get over that term. I was reading an article about it and apparently it’s because only domesticated pets are allowed in the city limits. They didn’t say it was for health reasons, though, so I’m stumped.
I just went ahead and treated myself to another large Disney bust figurine from the Grand Jester series. I ordered the Maleficent one but will also be getting this Peter Pan one as well! Look at how pretty it is! And it’s pretty tall, too—probably 10-12 inches. Next on my list is the Beast. Yeah, I officially love this series. Any Disney collectors should check it out. For the quality and size the price of $60-100 is actually not bad at all.
Both the Peter Pan and The Beast look really cool^^. I like the idea of the Rose being under the Beast.
Yes, that’s a great series of busts.
Definitely worthwhile… for those who are allowed to buy them
