Agreed. I’m really tired of Pixar winning too. The problem is the Awards are very Pixars bias. They complain about the Annies being bias to Dreamworks yet they also win the most important award. Disney has never won before unless you count Spirited Away, which isn’t a real Disney movie. I’m starting to think Disney will never win as long as Pixar and Dreamworks are around. I also hate how the award started in 2001, I wish they would give an award to the best voted movie to every year before.
Well, I don’t know if it’s bias since they’ve deserved every time before. But not this time.
I’m beginning to think they pay a lot of attention to the technical standpoint. That’s the only thing that can explain Brave winning over Wreck-It-Ralph, which was quite good in that aspect too, anyway.
Quite a few people online currently
I had a feeling it was going to win anyway, their’s always next year.
Got Tangled today at Target.
Well, the Oscars weren’t too bad, though I wish Argo hadn’t win the big one.
Apologies for my absence as of late Pixar Planet. I still care about you! It’s just, I should be caring about Chemistry and Algebra more!
I was SO surprised that Argo won! I was wishing for Lincoln and expecting Life of Pi. Definitely I was caught off guard.
I am positively ESTATIC! I’ll be getting the Pixarpedia for my Birthday!
What a terrific gift, congratulations!
How awesome!! I got it for mine the year it came out, it’s great!
When is the nominations for PPA going to come up?
^Oh yeah, I forgot all about them!
We were watching Hitchcock.
Classes got cancalled again because of snow. I can’t wait for spring.
We’re watching Rise of the Guardians.
Thanks for asking! If you meant voting, I’ll I’ll say is “Soon, and thanks for your patience!”
I’ll be closing the Nominations soon.
Super stressed out, I don’t know where I’ll be living in 6 months. I don’t know what to decide for my University choice and my future after school. All I know for certain is that I’ll be in debt for years.
On top of that I have taxes to do, paperwork for my accident and physical therapy, schoolwork, regular work, financial aid, and so on and so on
I can totally relate to that, Kenzie. We’re in a somewhat similar situation.
I’m sorry, ellie-jessie-eve. I can relate to the stress, not nearly as well I’m sure but I still understand. I don’t have any particularly great advice, but I’m sure you’ll make a good choice. A university should fit you, and it ought to offer you whatever suites your talents and likings best. If you’re worried about leaving familiar people like your friends and family, there’s no rule saying you have to leave the state. There’s still time to go elsewhere after college. Or, if you would like a new experience, I would recommend you might go somewhere that would be familiar and/or safe. You could be in the median range too, like not too close nor too far away from your hometown. I’m sure you’ll make a good choice, but I suggest to figure out what you can for sure for now, and slowly make better decisions that guide you to a good path. No worries about it, but I don’t doubt you’ll do your best.
In fact, I’m actually having a bit of trouble too. I really liked the campus tour I took at my university. My parents were happy with it too and they said they hope I can go there. If we can’t get all of the money we need together, though, I may be attending the community college. I see nothing wrong with it and I do think it’s a nice place and a good second resort decision. It’s just I hope I can get into the university, plus several people I know will be there so that would be nice. I hope everything turns out fine, as well as for the rest of you who may be entering college or a university this year; I know some of you are about my age.
EDIT: Spirits, I just saw your post now. I hope everything goes well for you guys as well and I’m sure everything will turn out fine.
Hey, thanks for your kind words! We really hope things work out for all.
