I want to see that! How is it?
Just got a new palm tree themed mousepad at Office Max today. Awesome!
One of their best.
Watching Kon Tiki.
Reliving the old days of watching Disney classics–by playing those songs on YouTube!
(I’m on the iPad.)
Watching Star Trek Into Darkness.
Seeing the need to get along with others who have disabilities/disorders while trying to plan my future within the next few years
We’re watching The Paradine Case.
I wish I could do fan fiction, fan art, and sigs. (Soon, I hope.)
You can do any of that if you put your mind to it! The best way to get good at something is to do it and keep at it ![]()
Thanks for the tip!
Watching Now You See Me.
I wish people would stop comparing Frozen to Tangled. You haven’t even seen it yet! And Anna does NOT look that much like Rapunzel. ![]()
Heheh, I just posted about that. I have it on my mind too! The fact that I can’t search “anna frozen” on google without encountering hate on the first page… ![]()
Today, I was able to buy the two other seasons of Avatar: The Last Airbender on DVD, and I got a Monsters University plushie named Britney! (actually, she’s my avatar at the moment)
I watched Goldfinger.
I was looking at some of the backlash over the announcement that Ben Affleck will be the new Batman. Why don’t people wait until they see a trailer first. I was reading somewhere that Heath Ledger recieved a lot of backlash when it was announced that he would be playing the Joker. We all know how that turned out.
Personally, I’m not happy about that. I don’t hate Ben Affleck. But I’m kind of tired of all these variations of Batman and the Joker’s looks and personalities. Bstman has a deep voice, and a huge chin. The end! I have my favorite renditions, and I can see they’ve been intentionally thrown to the wayside. Whatever. I guess I’m solely going to be enjoying Marvel products, and the DCAU.
That’s so awesome! I’ll be ordering the Avatar DVD sets soon myself.
As a comic book fan, I thrive in reinterpretations.
No other medium has been as prone to variations of the same characters and stories. To say there’s only one valid iteration of a comic book element is to deny one of the most particular characteristics of its medium of origin.
Besides, it’s not like Bruce Wayne has had a distinctive look (otter than his attire), like Superman or Tony Stark do. Ben Affleck is (looks-wise, we’ll see about acting later), as valid as Batman as many other actors.
I’m just not interested. But I’m sure they know that some people won’t like ti no matter what. Who knows, maybe it’ll be great. But not what I’m looking for.
Waiting for a strawberry-peach smoothie…
