What's on your mind? (Status Updates)

Spirit of Adventure: I could see you’ve changed your avatar and sig theme to Lightning McQueen (I’d just thought I’d post it here instead of making 2 separate posts on 2 separate topics–seems as though I just saved me some time! You know, it looks as if your avatar and sig always seem to match with each other in terms of theme.)

Anyways, I’m going to be working at Hobby Lobby again tomorrow, and I still haven’t watched all 3 parts of Back to the Future or the original Tron that I’ve rented from the library. Also, my mom has to go to some farmer’s market meeting tomorrow (she wants me to bring my iPad, which I am on right now as I type). And she’s gonna be getting her paycheck tomorrow, too–hopefully I might be able to make a stop at the post office downtown tomorrow in order to get me some more of those…ah, Pixar stamps. And the reason why I expect to get more of those stamps in both sets is so I can be able to send thank you cards right on time–for this coming Christmas, and also for my next birthday. Plus, i already have the top strips with each and every design, but I’m also thinking about keeping the backs of my next set (for the sketch-like images, of course). Apparently, those colorful images on the stamps will encourage me to send the cards right away, rather than wait and hold it off for too long!

It’s kinda like…the biggest reason for my being attracted to such Pixar-related type items is all because of those colorful images. No wonder I declare Pixar to be my top favorite studio!

Now I am sitting in my bed, my light-up palm tree is lit up, and I just love to spend most of my days relaxing!

PS–Who the site’s administrator again? And how did you contact them (in case they’ve been away for quite a long time–as according to user profiles)? Because I have become quite a frequent visitor lately, I did notice the spam problem, too.

Watching The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones.

I hope you know I wasn’t criticizing you Spirit. I’m just disgusted by the troll.

Nope. My post had nothing to do with yours

I had just attempted to contact Phileas and I wanted to report it to you all.

Mom had to go to some farmers market meeting yesterday–I did not like it.
(I also don’t like the fact that it went longer than expected just because some people have such a gabbing problem!)

But I did go to Cici’s yesterday, and I was watching TV because it was on Nickelodeon (SpongeBob was on, then came Fairly OddParents).

Gosh, I really need to get more stamps from the post office…and I still haven’t done it yet!
(Hopefully, I’ll make a stop there after working at Hobby Lobby again tomorrow…)

The president of Nickelodeon wants to make the Avatar franchise their new flagship series! How exciting. Now they have T shirts, plushes, DVDs CDs and more on their site for sale! I know it’s unlikely and Spongebob is still massively popular, but the fact that he even said this makes me so happy. And Nick would be taken much more seriously this way.

Watching The Pursuit of Happyness.

I was about ready to work at Hobby Lobby, and then I had myself a flashback from the time I looked up a set of Cricut Cartridges containing not just Cars or Toy Story but rather all Pixar films combined! (And I remember looking it up online)

Watching The Green Hornet

Today was the day Freddie Mercury passed in 1991, so I’m listening to loads of his music, probably needless to say. I’m also about to watch the Season 4 opener of MLP…

Playing around with Google Translate and got this:

Shhh、あなたはそれを聞いていますか?それは変化の風です。

Pronounced: Shhh, anata wa sore o kiite imasu ka? Sore wa henka no kazedesu.

For the original, read the spoiler tag:

[spoil]Shhh, do you hear that? It is the winds of change.[/spoil]

Finally watching The World’s End.

Oh my gosh! It’s like a white Thanksgiving up here where I live! And…I have leftover pizza.

I’m proud of myself for being able to decipher what that meant before reading the spoiler tag  Even if my Japanese is very mediocre, lol. 8D

Mom keeps telling me she doesn’t like techno music, and I keep telling her it sounds good enough to dance to based on beat and rhythm.

Just watched Brave on DVD for the first time (not sure why I put off watching it, lol). First time I’ve seen the film in a year! It is a much smaller-scale story than what we’re accustomed to from Pixar, but I still feel it’s told well and the characters are good. Sometimes I wish they’d built the atmosphere up a bit more to give it more layers, but I still like it.

What did you think? I really enjoyed it. My favourite comedy of the year.

It was strange, because it didn’t cause me the same satisfaction that the other two films in the trilogy (which I’ve loved for years), but yet I think it was on the same level.

I’ll re-watch it after a while and I’ll probably love it too. If I really enjoyed something, was the reversal of roles of Pegg and Frost.

I just woke up–still trying to rest and relax a bit…

Wow, you can read Japanese? That’s awesome. I do wonder if the grammar is a little off however, and…

did you by any chance try reading it in Steve Buscemi’s voice?
