Funny, I had a dentist’s appointment this morning! I actually kinda like going to the dentist, probably because I have a friendly one who likes to chat and I find it quite relaxing lying back in the chair while a man scrapes my teeth with a scalple.
At least my teeth feels clean after the polish. I like the minty-flavour of the polish paste.
Okay, T.M.I.
Oh, and I remember going to California Adventureland back in my U.S. trip in 2005. It was awesome, I even saw the Toy Story parade (that was back when I despised Pixar before I watched Cars). Shame they’re gonna redesign the entrance, I thought it looked okay.
At least those of you who are going there for the first time will be able to ride the Nemo attraction and see Wall-E and Eve at the musical fountains!
I went in 2005, as well. It was really fun!
My favourite ride was definitely Mulholland Madness.
My favourite character meeting was definitely the Mad Hatter, in the main park.
I have to clean my room, I’ve got a friend coming over tonight.
I’m watchin’ the Beatles film A Hard Day’s Night. I will admit, it’s strangely confusing. xD After this I’ll probably be watching Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, then I’ll blare Queen music while making lunch (my mom and sister are gone at a catshow, dad’s sleeping because he has work tonight).
MentalGuru: Yes! I haven’t been to the 6 Flags theme park you’re talking about (I believe it’s Magic Mountain) But I have heard the rollar coasters are epic. And I wouldn’t be suprised if the entrence is the same. The new one is too generic to me, and not that much fun, as the letters were.
As for expenses in maintance, I’m sure it’s no problem. this is Disney we’re talking about, money is no issue.
I have a bunch of random things on my mind right now.
One of them being supper. I’m actually really hungry right now.
The other thing…? Well, I finally beat Professor Layton 100% this morning, and I probably wouldn’t have been able to if I hadn’t looked up some help on Youtube.
I have also been having trouble getting inspiration to draw. I hate it when that happens, because it happens frequently and no one likes having artist’s block.
Do you happen to know the cause IGV? Is it normal flu or a stomach bug? Make sure you take care of yourself! And remember to drink your fluids. Hope you feel better sooner rather than later!
I did get ill a few times this season- including Boxing day and New Years Eve, but winter tends to be the season of illness in general.
I just have very low immunity, and get sick several times every Winter. My doctor gave me some meds a couple of weeks ago, but I’m sick again. I’m just cursed, I guess. Thank you for your concern, though!
I was a lot like that in the autumn it was horrible. I got this really bad chest infection, then tonsilitous and then an even worse chest infection. It was horrible. I hope you get better soon! x
Tonight my Youth Group is staring to film our yearly 30 Hour Famine video. Every year we fast for 30 hours to bring awareness and raise money to child hunger in 3rd World Countries.
The video is placed on the internet and shown at 2 churches in town. Our project started so small when we first joined 8 years ago, no it’s an annual thing. I’m so proud of all the work we’ve done, and money we’ve raised. Ever since Famine started, around the US it’s spread to Australia and Europe. Thanks to youth out there, communities where our money has been sent, studies show, that the child hunger rate has dropped!
I’m not bragging, but I just want to say this to get people aware! No matter how small you think you are or powerless, you can make a change! And this is one example! Fasting may not be for you, but there are opportunites out there, religious and non-religious, where you can do humanitarian work.
