My mom asked me to take apart a messed up crocheted blanket she got about a year ago and fix it. It’s a hassle, but it’s looking amazing. 
Even though another sewing project is the last thing I need right now.

So, my dad just won’t accept that I don’t like his girlfriend, and he’s gonna go ahead and keep inviting her over all the time. Lovely.
I feel so relieved. My puppy came back from the hospital. I have never felt so scared, but he’s back now.
Sorry to hear that! It was personally one of my favorites this year, but I can see how it’s not for everyone.
TSS: Oh no, what happened?
EJE: my puppy got got attcked by a wild dog. It bit him in the leg. He had to go to the hospital to see if it wasn’t serious. Luckily, the vet sticthed him up.

Soooo happy, RIO got a feature in the lifestyle magazine pullout for my city’s newspaper! And Carlos Saldanha and the cast were interviewed, along with beautiful scenery shots from the movie! Such a promotion has rarely been done on such a scale, usually the most distributors would do is have a kiddy-activity book (like they did for HTTYD and Ice Age 3) or some ‘pay an extra $2 if you have the token’ souvenir like they did with Toy Story 3 (you collected a keychain every day).
But Rio… it got an entire cover picture of Blu! Having a cartoon character on a cover of a lifestyle magazine has never been done before to my knowledge (well, except maybe Buzz and Woody on an issue of Wired from last year). The most I’ve seen is on the entertainment sections of that newspaper (they cover-featured Up and Legend of the Guardians before), so it’s really quite an achievement to see Blu when I opened the newspaper this afternoon!

I don’t know if I disliked it, but certainly I didn’t like it. Despite the evident quality,of course.
It was probably my least favorite Oscar nominated film of the year.
EJE and SoA: I mean, I can see why it was nominated. I really do. But it was very unpleasant for me, and I felt somewhat uncomfortable watching it. And the end, while artistic and I suppose gorgeous, was very depressing and stayed with me for a while.
