Where do you think Ratatouille will rank in your Pixar list?

I’ve already started this board in IMDB, so I thought it’d be nice to start a similar thread here.

So

far, from everything Ratatouille-related that you’ve seen (such as the trailer,

synopsis from the official site, etc.), where do you think it will rank in your Pixar list? So far, my list goes

as follows:

 1. The Incredibles
 2. Finding

Nemo
3. Toy Story 2
4. Toy

Story
5. A Bug’s Life
6.

Monsters
7. Cars

Of course, I still think

that Cars is a brilliant movie, despite being ranked “last”. Right now, it

seems like “Ratatouille” would be ranked between Finding Nemo and

Toy Story 2. Of course, the actual ranking ultimately depends on the movie

itself.

What about you?

Well, I for one don’t

rank the Pixar films because they’re all number 1 in my heart… I just can’t choose. :stuck_out_tongue: However, I’m already

convinced that Ratatouille will fit into the box with the rest of them.

I have a pretty good feeling that it either will take over Monsters,

Inc.'s spot as Number 2 or even A Bug’s Life’s spot of Number 1!!

I know, I have REALLY high hopes for it, but hey: That’s what should be able to do with a PIXAR film!

To be honest, I’m not going to

judge it at all until I see it- I remember seeing the posters and ads for The Incredibles and thinking that it

actually looks pretty strange, and not to my taste, but once I had seen it, I loved it. It’s the same with Cars,

to be honest- I’m worried that it’s not a very good Pixar film at all, with all of the disappointing reviews

its had, but I’ll reserve judgement until I see it.

Those reviewers just wanna burst Pixar’s bubble cause they’ve been

doing so well… they think that eventually they’ll have to flop. Not this time, though. Not by a long

shot.

Exactly. No critic

seemed to beleive that PIXAR could have seven consecutive blockbuster hits . . . and

it seems they were all wrong!

The other companies, especially Dreamworks, are really

going to start pushing the boat out with their films now, if they haven’t been already- but Pixar’s just too

good!

Yeh, Dreamworks has released a lot more films as Pixar, but only a few have matched Pixar’s

box-office success. I’m not gonna bash Dreamworks, although I’m not a big fan of their work, but it’s fun to

look at the stats between the two.

Pixar:

Dreamworks:

Yeah, apart from Shrek 2, Dreamworks’ stats aren’t very impressive. It’s obvious that Shrek

3’s going to do very well, but Dreamworks doesn’t have much consistency either.

I myself don’t have a lot against Dreamworks. In fact Madagascar i enjoyed a

lot. It’s just their stories that they need to work on. They need to get some good story artists.

BTW -

love the avater lizardgirl.

Personally I think DW houses some VERY creative minds - they’re movies just aren’t the best, is

all.

Anyway, I think Ratatoutoutlltjselihtyiee should do pretty well.

Yeah, I agree-

they’re getting there, but they’re just not 100%.

Thanks!

From the very beginning I KNEW for a fact Cars was gonna

be great. And i told my family and all those who said it looked dumb that I was going to stick by opinion and

that they would soon change there mind… every single one of them changed there minds. Enough said. I love the

animation department at Pixar and there’s no telling me otherwise. Or telling me there’s been better, because I

know better. It’s good hearted animation, made by good hearted animators and artists, what could be better?

My current

list would have to be:
1.) Monsters Inc.
2.) The Incredibles
3.) Cars
4.) A Bug’s Life
5.) Toy

Story 2
6.) Toy Story
7.) Finding Nemo
I’d imagine Ratatouille settling somewhere above or below A

Bug’s Life… I really hope Brad Bird makes it a bit more funny than The Incredibles, but that’s more than

likely anyways. (Hey, the main characters are sewer mice, what’s not funny about that?)

I’m betting it WILL be, Rex!

And

welcome!

Here is my list:

 1. The Incredibles
 2. Finding Nemo
 3. Cars

Monsters Inc.
5) A Bug’s Life
6) Toy Story 2
7) Toy Story

I think Ratatouile would take the

number 4 spot, knocking everything from MI and below down a level.

Well here’s my list:

1.Cars
2.Finding Nemo
3. Monsters Inc
4.

Toy Story 2
5.The Incredibles
6. Toy Story

*Never saw Bugs Life

I honestly dont know where

Ratatouile will fit. I’m thinking between 3 & 4.

How come you never saw A Bugs Life?

I have to agree lennonluvr9 I don’t know where Ratatouile

will be on my list. I guessing around the 3 or 4 spot for me also.

Well I’ve always loved Cars so

that’s up top, but this may well come close. It looks really interesting a potentially very funny. I mean, we

all know there will be a fart gag with cheese.
