Which Pixar film always makes you cry?

There were a few times I’ve almost cried during a Pixar film. The only two that come to my mind, though, are when all the chefs leave Gusteau’s! and Colette walks up to Linguini. The other part is in WALL-E, the whole ‘define Dancing’ scene. Almost gets me every time. :stuck_out_tongue:

that’s A LOT of spoilers. I’m gonna have to read them on the computer because I’m on the iPod and I can’t highlight… :frowning: one of the many drawbacks.

anyways I think the movie that ACTUALLY GOT ME was WallE. the ending was just too sad

Well, the ending can make you cry, but it’s not sad. I think that’s what you mean.

It’d be much sadder if it ends the other way. :open_mouth:  :open_mouth:

There is sometimes i cry for Wall-e just because it’s so well made, all the details, i’m like Oh my god how do they do that ?
Actually i cried at the beginning also the first time i watched it…

And after that there is Finding Nemo and Monsters Inc. when Boo’s like “Kitty” .

Yeah, I know, right? Sometimes I get a bit teary-eyed when watching WALL•E simply because I’m so proud that Pixar could make such a moving film.

I probably have no heart. I did not shed a single tear during the WALLE & EVE moments.

don’t worry…i don’t either.

The only one i have cried on is…uhhh…

I looked away. I didn’t want to be seen as the only person crying in my family because I’m too over-emotional like that. :frowning:

Being most emotional…
1.WALL•E (WALL•E & EVE)
2.Monsters, Inc. (Sulley & Boo)
3.Finding Nemo (Marlin)
4.Toy Story 2 (Jessie)
5.Toy Story 1 (Woody)
6.The Incredibles (Mr. Incredible)
7.Cars (Lighting McQueen & Sally [well, I’m not sure])
8.Ratatouille (er… who would it be? maybe Linguini & Colette [maybe not])
9.A Bug’s Life (there should be some but I can’t really think of it now)

Finding Nemo

Marlin looks at the area where all the eggs used to be and sees nothing but a tiny little egg. The music gets me every time.

Marlin leaves Dory after finding out about Nemos supposed death. Dorys dialouge is so emotional.

Cars

The Our Town scene.

Lightning is forced to leave Radiator Springs.

Monsters, Inc.

Sulley says good bye to Boo.

Sulley meets Boo again.

Toy Story 2

Jessie reflects her past with Emily.

WALL•E

[spoil]The end where WALL•E seems to have forgotten anything.[/spoil]

Monster’s Inc: The “Sully leaves Boo” scene. That scene was just so heartbreaking, and the music… it was just so sad!! Just thinking of it waters my eyes. :`-(

Man, I call myself sensitive, and yet, I’ve only cried during one movie, and that is Cars. The whole goodbye scene is too sad! And when I noticed that Lightning had tears in his eyes, I just started bawling for him. I mean, during that last day, he decides he’s gonna stay and that he doesn’t wanna return to the racing world and then Doc calls the press and they come and take him away. To Lightning, Radiator Springs is home and all that he wants is there. Not in California. And the fact he only said goodbye to Sally and he tried to tell her something but then she left off. Waaaa!    One night, I put that scene to the chorus of the Rascal Flatts song My Wish. I was crying into the California race. And I do remember just thinking about that scene one night before I went to bed and I put myself in Lightning’s position and imagining what his thoughts were while he was in the trailer while I listened to sad Rascal Flatts songs. I’m pretty sure I cried for a good 15 minutes there. That scene always makes me so close to crying now that I’ve seen it too many times and I wish that I could be Lightning’s shoulder to cry on. Poor Lightning.

The part in Toy Story 2 that always got me was when Woody tells Buzz that he can’t go back with him and at that exact same time, he’s watching a Woody’s Roundup episode where he sings “You’ve Got A Friend In Me”. When Buzz is walking away down the grate and hears the echo of the line “We stick together/ we can see it through,…”, I bawl endlessly. I haven’t seen that part mentioned anywhere else in this thread; did anyone else find this sad or am I just overly emotional?

Ugh! I hate and love Monster’s Inc for the very same reason; the last scene. [spoil]Where Sully reopens the closet and grins at the sight of his old friend, Bo[/spoil]. Every time I watched that scene I have the same thought process.

Wall-E did the same to me at times, but at least I knew what to expect (to a degree). I hadn’t seen or heard anything about Monster’s Inc. until I saw the flick on DvD; it caught me evilly by surprise.

Even though I’ve only seen it once, Up made me cry four times  It has so many sad parts and I just couldn’t hold it in :`-(

I don’t really cry at movies (except Bridge to Terabithia, i don’t know why but it made me cry like a baby) but there were a few pixar movies that almost made me cry.

Wall-E: [spoil] when he gets damaged really bad [/spoil]

and

The Incredible: when he says he cant lose elastigirl again[/spoil]

Wall-E at the end when [spoil]his memory is erased[/spoil] I was so surprised with the the rest of the film, I honestly thought he was going to stay that way. [spoil]And everytime I watch that scene it makes me cry just thinking about what EVE believes she has lost forever. That the final kiss she gives him is a kiss goodbye.[/spoil]

Finding Nemo: When Dory begs for him not to leave her, but he says he wants to forget and swims away.

I’ve never cried in a movie, but seeing as what happens in the first 5 minutes of Up shudder

TS2:My gosh, I can’t even think of it.
Cars:Were no one comes.
I cried once in Monsters.Inc.

toy story 2: jessies past
monsters inc.: when sulley sees boo again
Up:

when carls wife dies and when he looks at her adventure book
