Which Was The First DISNEY Animated Film You Watched ?

My frist Disney film i ever saw in my life was The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.

I was 1 years old when I saw it.

The frist Disney film in theater is Tarzan! All I can rember was the yell at the end of the movie

Ummm let’s see It was probably… The many adventures of winnie the pooh (I think that’s what its called. Not sure it counts as a movie though)

Yes, it’s included as a movie in the Disney animated canon.

Both are excellent movies for your first one. It’s always good to start off with a classic than the Hanna Montana crap.

Hannah Montana isn’t animated. Though, they6 might make an animated show. Disney Channel sinks lower and lower each year…

Doesn’t matter if HM is animated or not. When I have kids, I would want to start them on the Disney golden classics and try to avoid the teen idols as much as possible.

If I ever have kids(hope to God not, or maybe adopting some would be fine, I will not have cable. If they had the Disney Channel on in my house, I would be the most ashamed parent alive.

I know the first animated movie I’m gonna show my kids is Toy Story. I don’t want to show them TI due to it’s high intensity, but I’m gonna introduce them strait to Pixar right away.

Well, I can always introduce my nieces and nephews to classic animation. 8D

Good choice!

The first Disney animated movie I’ve seen was The Emperor’s New Groove in theaters back in 2000. It had to be the funniest Disney animated movie lining up a great comedic cast in David Spade, John Goodman and Patrick Warburton.

Really? I’m glad you enjoyed it. BUt did you watch a Disney classic film before Emperor’s New Groove?

I think it was the Little Mermaid for me.

The first movie I ever saw in theaters was Toy Story. My love for Pixar was meant to be

Yeah, Emperor’s New Groove was the first Disney animated movie I seen in theaters. I just remembered watching Aladdin, Lion King, and Tarzan. Lion King to me is still one of my favorites from the Disney Renaissance. It features some of the greatest voice actors in cinema history with James Earl Jones and Jeremy Irons. Scar has to be one of my favorite Disney villians along with Frollo and Gaston.

my mom took me to see Pocahontas when it came out but unfortunately i was a year old (same thing happened with the first Toy Story). The first disney film I remember seeing in theaters was Mulan.

That’s neat! Have you plans to see the newest movie this Summer?

The first one i remember seeing was either Cinderella or Sleeping Beauty.

snow white & the seven dwarves was my first disney movie. makes sense, since it’s my mom’s absolute /favorite/ disney princess movie.

lol, same here. if i ever have children, they’re getting raised on classic disney, ghibli, pixar, & select dreamworks films.

Exactly!! I might just not have cable. I mean, personally, I watch like 2 hours of TV a week. So I wouldn’t miss it. My kids will ONLY see films, especially the classics.
