I love ranking all of them. My rankings aren’t fair though, as they’re based on my opinions. Not their quality. But that’s why it’s fun. If it was quality, all intelligent people’s lists would be relatively similar.
I know it’s not quality, but I think even in opinion you’re bound to like two films about the same. So why the need of rating one higher than the other?
Good question. For me, because it’s fun, and I like to see how other people react to my odd choices( I nurse fond feelings for Atlantis, but am personally traumatized by Bambi).
I’m not entirely sure, but I think it was The Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh, the first Pooh film. Though I often wonder if it might’ve been Bambi or The Tigger Movie. Still enjoying them after all these years…
Really? I think The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh was my first Disney film too, Obsessed with Pixar! Pooh and Toy Story were my favorite franchises growing up! If not that one, Peter Pan or Lady and the Tramp may have been my first Disney film. I think The Rescuers and Oliver and Company were a little later.
Wow! Cool coincidence, LQ! I think The Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh is a good first Disney film; it’s not a complicated story, likely wouldn’t scare a little kid, and is sweet and classic! Ironically, while I didn’t see the first Toy Story until I was 10, I still remember the Toy Story trailer on the Pooh videotape!
I can’t remember, I think it was one of the Princess ones or The Jungle Book
It may have been Pooh, it may have been one of the princess movies. The first one I REMEMBER seeing was the Little Mermaid, mainly because thats the first movie I remember going completely nuts over
The Lion King, I fell in love with it instantly and it remains one of my favorite films.
I can’t remember. I had VHS tapes of The Fox and the Hound, The Jungle Book, Toy Story, Lady and the Tramp and The Hunchback of Notre Dame, but I can’t remember which one I saw first.
My earliest theatrical memories were of the late 1983 re-release. I had vague memories of the gators moving through the water, and of Penny being pursued.
I was either Cinderella or Aladdin but I’m leaning towards Aladdin. I still have all my vhs’s :]
I think Beauty and the beast, i loved that film and i still do!
