Who has the best avatar?

I too really like your new avatar little chef! I can’t wait to see your new Ice Age 3 avatar TDIT! As you probably already know, I too cannot wait to see it!

Ya, RLY.

It seems Optimus is indeed proving popular… thanks Loppy, woody, FounderofAzn and wannabechef91 for the compliments!

And you’re welcome, Violet Parr.

Thanks for the explanation, little_chef. That was very enlightening.

Well, I’m wearing it now. How’d ya like it? I hope it’s not too spoilerific, it’s from ‘Walk the Dinosaur’ film tie-in music video sung by Queen Latifah.

I like it  At least something good is finally happening to Scrat!

Phileas- Thanks  ! Yeah that’s a cap. TSS explained where it came from well.

The Star Swordsman- Thanks  ! I just hope Violet doesn’t look to sad in my avatar. Her eyes are half closed because she was blinking when that freeze frame was taken.

thedriveintheatre- I like yours  . Like so many other great supporting actors, Scrat just makes that film! I can’t wait to see Ice Age 3. Looks hilarious  !

Violet Parr: She doesn’t look sad. She looks either dazed or sleepy. :unamused:

Thanks, woody! I really hope Scrat gets what he wants this time (the nut and the girl!)

Thanks, Violet Parr! Sometimes, it is the supporting actor who steals the show, isn’t it? I like your avvie too of a sad Violet. Very moody, like a Max Payne or Sin City kinda thing or something… maybe dial the hue and saturation down, and add a couple of flying sparks/burning ember or something…

The Star Swordsman- Thanks  . Yeah, she does look kinda tired, doesn’t she?

thedriveintheatre- You know what? That’s not a bad idea  ! I’ll try that. Thanks  !

There. How’s that look?

Awesome!

Thanks  !

I just changed mine to a doodle of WALL•E I did on my new tablet! 8DDD Okay, so it looks like crap, but it’s still WALL•E… and it was still done on my new tablet!!! <3333

little chef

little_chef_eva09- Oh, little chef, it doesn’t look like crap. I think it looks cool. It just looks like a rough, “mud style” drawing. It’s nice  .

Gemini- I love your avatar :-D) ! It looks strangely familiar, though  .

Okay, I absolutely love your new one bright dot-dasher! I also like little chef’s new avvie  :

Violet Parr: Yes, somehow it does. :-D)

Thanks, woody! I went from rich little kittens to heroine of China.
I love yours too, with Stitch and his favorite book. It’s so cute! Especially since he’s sharing it with the little ducklings.

I also like yours, Violet Parr, with Vi peering out, still shy.

And yours, too, thedriveintheatre, with Scrat and Scratte. Which reminds me, I look foward to their moments in Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs!

And little_chef_eva09, I must say, your avvie with the doodle of WALL-E is quite cute!

woody- Your avatar is really cute  ! I love Stitch <3 ! He’s so cute!

bright dot-dasher- Thanks  ! Yours is pretty cool, too  . Mulan was a great movie.

little_chef: It’s definitely not crap. As a matter of fact, it’s freakin’ cute! “Yoo-hoo!” Congrats on the new Wacom, I read about it on your dA account.

woody: I don’t know whether I’ve mentioned your avatar, but if I did, I’ll say it again: it’s adorable! A truly poignant and heartbreaking scene from one of my favourite animated films of all-time.

BDD: Thanks! Well, there’s quite a few heartmelting (huh, that would make a good pun for the film’s tagline…) scenes to look out for. It’s not as ‘serious’ as Wall-E, but it’s cute nonetheless.

As for your avatar, Mulan is one of my favourite films when I was a kid. I remember my sibs and I convincing our folks that we had to watch it to understand our “cultural history” or some excuse like that, but we immensely enjoyed it (the VCD had a workout, heh heh). One of the few movies in which a female plays a strong lead protagonist and she doesn’t fall in love (well, not till the end anyway). The war scenes are about as epic as those in live-action counterparts, Mushu and Crikee rocked hard, the soundtrack had a nice Oriental feel to it, the… I went on a bit of a ramble there, did I? Well, I like the soft “Gaussian effect” and the light background. Tagline’s good too, what’s the font?

Thanks TDIT, bright dot-dasher and Violet! Stitch is (currently) my favorite Disney character, I swear it will change again real soon  . There’s just something about him that reminds me of summer.

Oh, yeah; I’m definitely loving bright-dot-dasher’s avy. I love Mulan, till the point which I cried listening to its soundtrack when I was young. I remember sitting by the boom box, clutching the CD case, just listening to Reflection over and over again. God, it was beautiful. If Violet hadn’t came along, I would have loved her till now. :stuck_out_tongue:

Violet: Aww, well I’m glad you think it’s cute. I’m my own worst critic, and I really need to stop bashing myself all the time. :unamused:

woody: Thanks! That one of Stitch is so adorable… and I think he reminds you of summer because the movie came out on June 21, 2002. I actually remember that day like it was yesterday.

BDD: D’awww, you think so, too? I’m honored that you guys would think my scribbles are cute. <3

TDIT: Thank you, and yes I love my new tablet so much. It’s a Hanvon, btw - not as fancy-schmancy as a Wacom, but it serves the purpose, and I absolutely love it. It was definitely an easier price on me, that’s for sure!
