pixarfan9099’s avatar is my new favorite. Has anyone else heard the crazy fan-made rumors going around that Neville was the REAL chosen one and that the story of Harry was just a distraction? 
I’ve read any kind of silly theories since the first book, and there are a couple that stand up to an analysis. The Neville one is particularly bad. The movie will now make that rumor stronger, as in the film it appeared that [spoil]Voldemort vanished after he killed Nagini, instead of anything made by Harry Potter, who in the film just standed there, making Priori Incantatem (that was just possible in book four, as the wands actually shared cores).[/spoil]

There are things that evidently could have been done better. In some instances (in all these movies), I’ve wondered if they actually put a little effort into it.

UUUG you people. It was there best movie and its really hard to pull off something like THAT! Yes I liked the books better too. But even J.K Rowling was pleased with it.

Which is why I view them as seperate things. I love the movies and the books. Spending my time comparing them doesn’t change it, so I just enjoy them for what they are.
Thanks EJE! I really love Rafael’s character because he’s such a family man (or bird)! Many movies and books focus on first-love and young romance, but very few of them actually feature post-marriage couples, and the way Rafael is such a smooth-talking sweetheart to his wife is so endearing. 
I don’t really get your avatar (Although I studied in international school for a year or so, I’m not really familiar with American history), but I like the fact that is animated!
I also like pixarfan9099’s Longbottom avatar! Having seen the final movie, I have to agree, he was a right bad-*ss and it’s such a great character redemption after being a butt-monkey for the entire series!
I might change my avatar soon cos’ I rediscovered some beautiful Rio concept art from the extremely talented Sergio Pablos, which I might wear in honour of the film’s release on home video in the States!
I wasn’t really comparing them with the book in that very sentence.
Just the films… pretend the books don’t exist. Are they very good movies? Major things happen in the plot, and they don’t even explain how. Sorry, but the script isn’t rounded up. That’s not the mark of a good movie.
But we’re far off topic.
I doubt anyone will take me seriously with my current avatar now.
